Lost Innocence

I believe that all children are born with innocent minds and pure hearts. They know nothing until they are exposed to other people and experience a lot of things.

I still remember how I viewed life before, how colorful every day is, how it seems like there's a rainbow every hour, and how I feel like we're in a Disneyland every minute. Oh! What an innocent child, right?

However, things aren't the same as we grow older. We encountered a lot of circumstances that we couldn't control. There are good experiences that we wish we could stay in that particular moment forever. On the contrary, there are also bad experiences that we don't want to face ever again since they caused us too much pain.

A pain that will change your perspective on life.

A pain that will make you do the things that you thought you would never ever do.

A pain that will lead you to the person you became.

What a horrible experience it is! That's how powerful the pain is. Who would have thought that you would be the person you once hated? All of your innocence is now lost.

Pain, what did you do to me? There are times that we didn't expect that we could do such things, even the idea that we never thought we could ever do.
