Today is the day that I'm meeting Camille for the very first time. I'm at the airport right now, waiting for Haley, Hamzah, and Claire. We're all getting on the plane together to fly over to LA. We decided it was going to be easier if we all took the same plane and then met up with Camille in LA. As I scrolled through tiktok in my seat waiting for them I heard someone yell my name. I looked up and saw Haley and Hamzah walking towards me. A smile came across me face and I got up to hug both of them. We pulled away after the hugs and I asked "Where's Claire?" Haley laughed. "I don't know. Late?" I knew that she was up to something. She had a mischievous face on. I looked over at Hamzah. He was smiling while staring at Haley. "Hamzah where's Claire? She said she'd be here before you guys." I said to him. He looked at me and sighed. "Haley told some random guy that Claire liked him." Hamzah responded. I rolled my eyes and then heard a familiar voice yell "Hey best friends!!" I looked up and saw Claire running towards us. We all exchanged hugs again and caught up. Then it was time for the flight. We went through all that shitty stuff before the flight and then boarded the plane. After we touched down in LA we rented a car and started driving over to the hotel we were staying at while we were here. When we got to the hotel we entered the rooms to check them out. They were really big and nice rooms. Haley and Claire picked one room already. We only had 3 rooms which meant one person had to sleep alone. I knew that Camille would probably not want to be alone in a room. Sooo... that means either me or Hamzah have to sleep in a bed with her. For 2 weeks every night. That made me nervous for some reason. I guess because I never slept in a bed with a girl that wasn't my mom or sister. I mean I'm not a virgin. But I never like... ya know slept with a girl. It was just a hookup. But anyways even if I did have to share a bed with Camille it wouldn't be weird or anything. Right? We're best friends anyway. We don't have any romantic history at all. So ya. "Hello. Chase. Earth to Chase." I was interrupted by Claire waving her hand in front of my face. "What did you say?" I asked her. "I asked if you were going to sleep with Cami. It'd be weird if Hamzah did." Claire said to me. "Uhh.. um sure. Yeah. I don't want her to be unsafe if she's alone and something happens." I said. "Uhh okay." Claire laughed awkwardly. I smiled and then we all waited around for Camille to get here. We were all really excited about this. Of course we were. It was the first time we'd see our best friend in real life.
I was sitting on a bed tapping my foot impatiently. That was, until I heard a key card go into the hotel room's door.

As I pulled up to the hotel we were going to meet at I started getting really anxious. I don't know why. I turned off my car after I parked it and took a deep breath to calm down. I got out of the car and went into the hotel. Wow. It was nice. I got the key card to the room from the front desk lady. Then I took the elevator up to my room. I wondered who I was sharing it with as I walked towards the room. Then I used the key card to open the door and opened it. I walked in and saw my friends. They all immediately looked happy. I got wrapped in the middle of a group hug. Then Haley and Claire hugged me again individually. I was so happy. I'm finally with my best friends. And it's for real this time. I pulled away from Haley's hug and I looked at Chase. "BEST FRIEND!!" I yelled excitedly and wrapped him in a hug. My arms around his neck and his arms around my waist. We hugged for a long time. I wished that I could hug him forever. That's crazy though. I pulled away from the hug slowly, looking up at him. He looked different in person. Not in a bad way at all though. He looks more handsome somehow. I think it's something in his eyes. I could stare deeply into them forever. They're so beauti— Shit. No! What am I saying? He's my best friend. Just that. Always that. Nothing more. Plus that would be weird. Right?
"Camille." I got snapped out of my thoughts by Haley. I quickly let go of Chase and looked away. "Hmm?" I asked softly. "Do you wanna go get coffee?" She asked me. "Sure. I haven't had coffee all morning. I'm tired as hell." I responded to her question. "Okay. Let's go. Claire do you want to go?" Haley asked Claire. "Yeah." Claire said and us girls left Chase and Hamzah to hang out back at the hotel. Haley, Claire, and I got in the car and drove to a random Dunkin Donuts. Haley ordered a normal iced coffee with cream and sugar. Claire got a jelly donut. I got a Choca Mocha iced coffe. We also ordered Chase and Hamzah each a iced coffee and a glazed donut. As Haley drove us back to the hotel to the boys we gossiped about different things happening on social media and in our lives. Claire asked about my sister a lot which made it obvious that she had a crush on her. I honestly shipped it secretly. I thought that they would be a cute couple. April will see that soon enough too. She has good luck in love. She always has. But anyway.. us girls finally got to the hotel and went to the room that Hamzah and Chase were chilling in. We went into the room and gave them their coffee and donuts from Dunkin. All of us ate and drank our coffee to actually get energy for the rest of the day. I think all of us were tired out from the flights we had.
After we finished our breakfast we decided to go on a drive and find a random place to make tiktoks together cause we were bored. And that's what we did. We drove around LA admiring nature and different places and houses. I really loved California. It's always been one of my favorite places in the world. I feel like anyone would say that but it's true. Cali makes me happy.
We drove up to a random park and made a few funny tiktoks. Chase was also vlogging a little because he wants to start posting on YT more often. We also took some pics for Instagram in some other places. We were out all night until like 11:00 pm just messing around. I got to know all of them way better. It was so much easier talking to them in real life. It felt normal being around them. I knew we were meant to be besties.
On the drive back to the hotel I started to fall asleep in the car. Today was exhausting. But trust me it was amazing.
