                                              SKL: There was a poetry contest where every class were required to join at my school. They would display the winning piece of each class and additional points would be added on our grades. Luckily, I was picked to be the representative of my class. This is the piece I have written:

                          If Ever, By Chance
                          To my definition of an angel,
an astral being, apart from my reach,
where I seek solace amidst the hustle,
and find serenity amidst the siege,

                          To think the time has come for us to see,
that love is but a journey undefined.
Love's like the waves from a beautiful sea,
Fascinating, yet could not be retained.
                          If ever, by chance, this love would wither,
yearn for its freedom, faraway from me.
If ever, by chance, my love please rememb'r,
that I would never regret loving thee.
                          Do not fear for I would never forget thee,
not when I traipsed ways for a love this deep.



                          P.S. I actually dedicated this to my first but now ex-boyfriend. I just imagined one day, our love for each other would wither. I never expected it would really happen haha. Still, we remained friends. Sayang eh.
