Kids - Daniel Ricciardo & Max Verstappen

After a long day of spending time with your family, you were home. You loved your family, but spending a whole day with them was just too much for you. They took so much energy from you that you just wanted to lay on the couch at home with your boyfriend and do nothing. And also the fact that you had a long flight, which got delayed, so you had to wait longer at the airport.

You kicked off your shoes and expected to see your boyfriend, Daniel Ricciardo, laying on the couch, but he was nowhere in sight. 'Dan?' you shouted through your apartment. There came no answer back. You walked to your bedroom to see if he was there, but that also wasn't the case.

Then you heard the familiar laugh. You walked into the direction of the sound. Only now you noticed that the balcony door was open. You stepped outside, and the laughter became louder.

'Hey, babe!' Daniel shouted. You turned your head and saw that there was a mini pool in the corner of your balcony. Your boyfriend and his teammate, Max Verstappen, were both chilling in the pool.

'Hey Y/N,' Max smiled and waved at you.

You looked at the two boys, unsure of what to do. You left them alone for two days, and they bought a pool. Daniel didn't even fit in it properly. Max had his knees pulled up to his chest, which also didn't look very comfortable. 'You two bought a pool?' you asked.

'Jep! It was supposed to be a bit bigger than this,' Daniel said and smiled widely at you.

'You know that there is a giant pool downstairs? Or the ocean just a few miles away?'

'We do, but this was more fun.'

'Look behind you,' Max said.

'Do I even want to see?' you mumbled and turned around. Giant floaties were laying in the other corner of the balcony.

'Those were for the pool, but they didn't fit,' Daniel explained laughed.

You looked at the two of. 'You barely fit in, so how did you expect for these big things to stay in?' you laughed. You couldn't even be mad at the two of them. They looked like two kids who just got the biggest gift for Christmas, and honestly, it seemed quite funny to see two big guys in such a small pool.

'How was the family?' Daniel asked.

You sat down on a chair and sighed. 'It was a long two days. The kids were just terror. I just don't get how they can act like such brats. If I did then, when I was younger, my mom would've kicked me out of the house already. They just get away with everything. But it was nice to see them again. They're all energy suckers, but it was alright. What did you two do?'

Max stayed over for a few days because his apartment was getting renovated. 'Good. We played some games yesterday, worked out, bought this pool and chilled in it all day,' Daniel said.

'And we drank a lot of beer,' Max said and held up his beer.

The men were having a week off, so they took full advantage of that.

'We also got some complaints from the neighbours, so we need to keep it down for the next couple of days,' Daniel said.

'What did you guys do? The neighbours have never complained before!'

'We just had a little too much fun last night on the Playstation,' Daniel said.

'And we had a bit too much of this,' Max said and held up his beer bottle again.

'You two... are unbelievable.'

'You love us,' Max smiled.

'I do, but you can be a bit like kids sometimes.'

'At least we're not terror kids, and you raised us right.'

You laughed at Max his comment. You walked over to Daniel and gave him a quick kiss. 'I'm going to shower and watch a movie because I'm tired,' you said.

'We'll order some pizza for dinner,' Daniel said.

'Sounds good to me.' You walked into your apartment again. You quickly unpacked and then took a long shower.

When you walked back into the living room. Max and Daniel we're both sitting on the couch, a movie already selected and the pizza on the table. 'Smells like home,' you said as you let yourself fall down on the couch.
