"Hazel Theodore?", "Here!" I reply to the    teacher taking roll as I see my best friend casually walk into the room taken the fact that she's late but doesn't care. "When will you ever decide to actually come on time?" I whisper as she just shrugs at me. "What, I have priorities misses Theodore". I look at her and roll my eyes. "New hair color?" I ask as she takes the seat next to mine. She's always late but still manages to look stylish and badass even when she's in a rush. She has a number of tattoos and piercings that she got from who knows where. Her black hair is a bit past shoulder length with her now bleached green tips along with chocolate brown eyes that are so vicious no one could stare at them for long.

"Miss Kaylisa Reef, I see you decided to come not six but seven minutes late this time. Your lucky I was on a call or else you would have been absent today", I hear the teacher say as Kayla just scoffs in reply. "Ugh, hey Hazzy I'm going to a party tonight since it's Friday so if I don't call you that's why", she says as she kicks her feet up on the desk completely ignoring the teacher and while I take out my books for class. "Okay, just don't get stoned like you did last time I wanna finish my project for next week early, so I gotta be at home not at a frat party picking up a senior", I reply as I give her a pleading look. "Yeah yeah, I'll be with my boyfriend so you don't have to worry".
I once again rolled my eyes at the thought of a party and then toned into class and ignored all the text Kayla was sending to annoy me.

"Finally three classes done I can't stand to hear another word from any of those 'no it all' teachers!" I hear Kayla shout as we walk down the hallway and I was really hoping none of the teachers heard but know her she probably could care less , "Lunch time!" I say all happily as I open my locker and put my stuff away then follow Kayla.
We finally walk past the lockers and turn a corner to see the cafeteria. The large room was crowded and the smell of sweat and corn dogs hit my senses as I walked in. Kayla and I decided to take a seat at the table in the middle of the room after we got our lunches and started eating.
"Hey Hazzy, you haven't gone to a party yet right?" She looked at me with curiosity, "nope I like to focus on grades and getting a scholarship for lacrosse". She looked at me without any surprise. "Well, aren't you off of lacrosse and heavy courses for the next two quarters?" She states digging into her food, "Yeah, but I'm not considering going to a frat party, I'm a bit to clueless for that don't you think".
I look at her with a sassy look plastered on my face as I look over to see a three boys come over. "Hey assholes", Kayla says as they sit at our table.my guess is that she knows them.

"Who are they?" I ask looking at Kayla right after.

"Well, this is Jonah" she says pointing at the one closes to her who I remember is her boyfriend, as he places a peck on her cheek while I cringe. He's definitely attractive like the other two, he has light red hair and blue eyes along with a pretty nice build. "-And this is mason and Luke" she continues, I look over to mason and see that he's not as muscular as the other two but he's still a fine looking guy. He's got dark hair tan skin and grey eyes, he simply just smiled at me. "Hi, nice to meet you-" he stopped not knowing my name. "-Hazel Theodore" I finished giving him a nice smile. Lastly, I look at the last one, he had black hair and light amber-brownish eyes. He was stunning, but of course the one I had the most interest in had the most 'I don't give a fuck' look out of all of them. Instead of greeting me he simply just grunted a little, looked at me, then went back to what he was doing on his phone. I rolled my eyes in disbelief although he did look like an asshole.

"Your not gonna say 'hi' or 'nice to meet you'?", he looked up and looked at me like I was stupid. "Well, Kayla already introduced me so why do I need to?" He said looking back down.

"Ugh" I said as I leaned back a little. "So Kayla who's party is it?"

"It's Ryan's, his parents don't give a fuck about anything. They're even buying the alcohol for it, it's gonna be insane, seriously though Hazzy could you please come?" She look at me with her killing puppy eyes as the boys went on and talked about random stuff and I could care less.

"Hmm, how about no".

"What why, c'mon the last time you went out with me outside of school was when you and I went to go to the bookstore to return the two day over do books that you were all upset about" she said as I remember that time when I was crying over the phone to her with the thought that I'd get in big trouble because of an over due book, now that I think about it I am really reserved.

"You know what, I'll think about it" I replied to her knowing that I probably won't go anyways.

"Wouldn't it be nice to get to know us though?" Mason asked me.

"I guess, but you friend over there doesn't seem to eager to get to know me, also I don't really do party's I haven't even smelled alcohol before and you expect me to go to a frat party?!" I looked at him and he looked at me in disbelief so did Jason and Luke.

"What! Your saying you've never been to a party or gotten totally wasted before!" He said with wide eyes.

"Nope, my mom would kill me and plus I'm not even aware of how many shots it takes to get wasted". I said telling the complete truth.

"How many do you think it takes?" Jonah asks cocking a brow.

"I'd say about twenty", all the guys including Kayla started laughing so hard that they had to stop eating.

"Well shit, I wish it could be that much!" Mason said trying to tone down his laughter. I even saw Luke chuckle a bit and to be honest he looks like someone who doesn't laugh much, so it was nice to know I'm the one that made him laugh.

"Well folks, glad I could amuse you all with my innocence! Now if you'll excuse me I have a class to attend to", I said while Kayla got up with me.

"Hey, but seriously Hazel. Try to consider having fun for a bit" I looked at mason and smiled then walked away to go to class.
