It's Halloween today, which means that the teenagers are drinking and Vicki is most likely to go off the rails. Oh yaaay. Not really.

Zach and I have made decent progress with the Bed and Breakfast that we are having built. The buildings itself isn't completely finished yet nor is it completely decorated yet but its still in the early stages of completion. I have personally been working on the decor for inside of said building. There are two stories to it. So, being the lovely adults we are we go to the bar.

"Do you have a Mikes Hard Lemonade?" I ask the bartender as I sit down beside Zach who chuckles.

"Yes Ma'am." He comments lightly as he reaches around to grab one. "That'll be $5.75."

"You take visas right?" I ask him as I slip my debit card to him.

The guy nods and runs the card, after he gives it back I open up the bottle while Zach orders his own drink. "Do you think the kids will be alright?"

I shrug as I take a drink from my Hard Lemonade. "Probably. If not then they'll die."

Zach snorts and shakes his head. "How caring of you."

"I am. That's why Elena has a curfew, Stefan and her are have a set of rules they need to follow including him not sneaking in through her window. Even though she claims that they decided to just 'be friends' friends shouldn't be climbing in through the window at midnight."

He smiles at me amused. "what? Never snuck a date in through the window?"

"Nope. I snuck out through the back door and came back before anyone even noticed I was gone. Well, except for that one time during winter. Damn snow foot prints gave me away."

Zach chuckles in amusement. "How did you explain that one?"

I shrug and smirk at him. "I said that I went for a walk. It wasn't a lie, it was just a walk — all the way to the end of the driveway."

"You." He says with a chuckle. "Were a little shit."

Snorting out a laugh a laughter bubbles out of my mouth. "I adore you Zach."

"Lies." He says with a joking pout causing me to roll my eyes playfully. "All lies I say."

"Pa-lease." I say jokingly. "You love me."

"No one else but you." Zach replies deadpanned causing me to smirk at him widely. "You're such a child."

"Only at heart Zachy. That's why I'm so much fun." I tell him with a wink.

The bartender is watching us amused, his eyes go back and fourth between us. "How long have you to been together?"

"We're twins. We just got separated from each other's hips." I reply with a serious look causing his eyes to go wide. Before he can apologize though I chuckle. "Joking, we're friends. I sort of borrowed him from his home and now I can't get rid of him."

"Ha, like you'd let me flee." Zach replies cheekily.

The bartender raises an eyebrow. "Are you sure? You two seem - very close?"

"It's - well - like I said, best friends." I say with a shrug. "Kinda just happened that way you know."

"Yeah, she kind of just came over this one time and now here we are."

"All I did was get you out of that stuffy house."

"Yeah, yeah." He mutters and rolls his eyes. "Is the construction going to continue tomorrow?"

An hour later we got back to the Gilbert place/Home. Damon was sitting on the front porch with Stefan, at least the vervain seems to be working well inside of the house now.
