"kiss it, kiss it better, baby."
-

Me and the girls had potions class with Professor Slughorn so we walked straight there. I was utterly frightened with what Malfoy had done after I told him what Theodore had done.

"Quirrell, Lockhart, Lupin, Moody, and then Umbridge, I mean they just never stop do they?" Abigail said with a bright grin. We walked into Slughorn's classroom. Other students including Draco were in there standing at the front of the room. My eyes lingered on the boy for a second before I looked back at Cammy with a smile.

"And we have a new one every year." Camille said. I giggled. "And it's just simply barbaric." I said. We laughed together before we quickly calmed down realizing people were staring.

"Oops." Camille said with a playful grin. I snickered before I saw Professor Slughorn walk up to me. "Ms. Goldhorn, I believe we haven't met personally." He said, holding out his hand. I quickly shook his hand.

"Hello, Professor. My mother told me all about you. You were her Potions Master when she was younger." I said. Slughorn's eyes brightened, I let go of his hand.

"Of course. The two of you are one of a kind. She wasn't bad with potions but your father was always a wiz, along with your mother, Abigail. Anywho, you three ladies may take a book from the cupboards." He said. We nodded and walked away from the man towards the cupboards. Stacks of books were there and we each grabbed one.

As we walked to the front of the room I opened my book up because I was curious. My face painted with confusion as I looked at some writing on the first page.

Property of the Pureblooded Princess

Who was that? It was probably a past student just joking around. I closed the book as we finally reached the front and we turned around and faced Slughorn who was talking to a student. I also saw three pots that were placed on a table and they were steaming. I wonder what those were.

We suddenly see Harry and Ron come in. Slughorn turns around and looks at them. The two boys stop at the door.

"Ah, Harry, my boy, I was beginning to worry. We've brought someone with us, I see." Slughorn said, signaling to Ron. Harry grins. So they knew each other.

"Ron Weasley, sir. But I'm dead awful at Potions, a menace really." Ron said. I smiled a bit. "So I'm probably just gonna—." Ron was about to leave but was held back by Harry. "Nonsense, we'll sort you out. Any friend of Harry's is a friend of mine. Get your books out." Slughorn said before turning to look at us.

"Sorry, sir. I haven't actually got my book yet, and nor has Ron." Harry said. Slughorn glanced back.

"Get what you want from the cupboard." He said simply. Ron and Harry go towards the cupboards. I focus back on Slughorn.

"Now, as I was saying, I prepared some concoctions this morning. Any ideas what these might be?" Slughorn asked. Hermione raised her hand. Of course, always a smart girl.

"Yes, Miss...?"

"Granger, sir." Hermione said before putting down her hand and looking at the cauldrons. She walks up one before looking inside. "That one there is Veritaserum. It's a truth telling serum." She walks up to the second one.

"And that would be a Polyjuice Potion. It's terribly tricky to make. And this is Armortenia." She goes to the last cauldron. "The most powerful love potion in the world. It's rumored to smell differently to each person according to what attracts them. For example, I smell... freshly mowed grass and new parchment, and spearmint... toothpaste." Hermione snaps out of trance. So she likes someone. I smiled a bit. Hermione steps away from the cauldron quickly.
