JOANNA STARK, the sister of Ned Stark. Joanna was more beautiful than any woman in Westeros, yet she is completely oblivious to all the stares she would receive.
Unlike her sister, Joanna had never been much of a fighter. She never liked getting her pretty dress dirty, never liked aggressive games. Lyanna wanted more to be a knight rather then a lady. The two never had a very close relationship, but they were siblings.
After the tourney at Harrenhal, Joanna was left shocked and frightened for her sister. When the news of the abduction of Lyanna, she felt herself break. She though she would break, but she was wrong. When the news of her sisters death was out, she felt herself truly break.
Ned made her promise that she would do her duty to any house, and after Jaime had been ripped off his kingsguard title, he was suddenly in the need for a wife. Ned said yes, and Joanna wondered what life would be ahead of her. She had never though she would be the lion's bride ruling in GLITTER AND GOLD.
