'Joshua's here', Seonghwa gestured at the door in front.

Hoshi gulped down air and twisted the handle of the door.

'Aren't you coming?', he asked Seonghwa who turned around to walk away.

'Nope, I'm gonna go and sleep, just check on him for me', he replied, yawning.

Hoshi nodded and walked in. It was the only room that was lit with bright white light. It's windows were covered with brown paper blocking any light from outside during the day.

The room had a small table in the middle with a wooden chair toppled over the ground.

Hoshi scanned the room and his eyes fell on a figure laid on the ground-Joshua.

Joshua was laid sideways, his hands tied beside his back. Drenched in blood, he had his eyes closed.

Hoshi's POV:

I approached him. He had his eyes closed. His chest moved up and down indicating heavy breath and the fact that he was still alive.

I placed my hand on his shoulder blades as I tried to wake him up.

His lashes, suddenly, started twitching and the next moment Joshua opened his eyes, slowly.

'Joshua-', I whispered.

He fixed the gaze of pure-hatred on me. I managed to make him sit by the wall.

'I'm really sorry-', I again started.

'That bastard- who is he to Jeonghan?', Joshua asked me, barely audible.

'Step brother.'

'What does he want?'

'Things that every step brothers or sisters want-'

'Aishh- Jeonghan trusted you! How can you do this?'

'Umm...first of all, you being murdered won't be a headache to Jeonghan and second of all it's fun.'

Joshua looked at me, blood trickling down from his forehead.

'Jeonghan's broken you know', I pulled the chair towards me and sat down and continued,' as I was saying, he's broken. When I was in highschool with Jeonghan and Mingyu, Jeonghan always used to talk about his childhood friend, what was the name...yes! Hong Jisoo.'

To my surprise, Joshua's eyes widened.

'What?', I asked and he shook his head,' yeah so they were separated and...I don't know, you can still see how broken he is because of losing just a friend. Now that Greil's dead and you are here, he probably lost his mind.'

'So-', as soon as Joshua started, blood coughed out of his mouth,' nevermind, so yes- from what you were saying, I understood that Yoon Jeonghan really treasures his relationships or friendships but on the other hand, you are a complete bastard, betraying your own friend.'

'Oh my, we can't say that yet.'
