"Noah..." A serene voice called, a beautiful girl with long curly violet hair with big blue eyes she stood at the edge of a rocky cliff with flowers blooming around her feet, she adorned a royal blue dress that left her feet bear but her ankles had gold bracings on them in her hands she held a red rose.

But she was not alone, a blonde-haired man with long red to blue ears and purple eyes, his curly blond hair was cut short and his eyes while the colour of his mother had the shape of his father. This was a nine-tailed Huli fox. His long fox ears dropped on he beheld the woman.

"Who are you?! Why do you keep on haunting me?!" He pleaded with her for an answer but she gave none, she only looked at the horizon as the sun rose from the horizon and she started to melt in the sunset like seafoam melting into the waves of the ocean down below, the girl was gone... The fox boy ran to where she was standing but she was no more as he felt himself slowly start to fade from the area as well.

Seiren jumped out of his bed the memories of the dream woman coming back to him... He looked towards the rising sun, it was just about time to open the library and send the reports to the zodiac King Leo.

He sighed, once more she had disappeared into the sunrise... She always called for someone named Noah and then ignored him... It was getting on his nerves.

But, he did not sit for long, he stood up from his bed and got ready for the day ahead, being a member of the chosen was not an easy task...

His day started at six am he had to report to the library for briefing and then his real work started at eight when he was given tasks by the spirit king Leo and his wife Queen Aries, who was trying to get her daughter back from Lord Libra with no success, the guy was desperate to keep hold of his 'muse.' But to his shock, there was another guest... A newborn baby that looked just about a day old snuggled in the arms of a palace guard.

The baby was fast asleep, she had white hair with three white peacock feathers with violet to gold spots on them and a long peacock tail with the same pattern, her skin was as white as freshly fallen snow but despite her snow-like appearance he could well sense the hidden flames hidden inside of her, but there was another magic inside of her, something much more ancient.

"Lord Evgenis." The king started making Evgenis or rather Seiren look towards him.

"This is Goddess Hoshimi, the daughter of the Goddess Zuojia." King Leo started:

"And from now on, she is in your care." Leo gestured to one of the guards to hand the babe over to her guardian who took her as if she was spilt gas on a fire.

"My Lord... I don't mean to be rude or nosy, but who is the child's father?" Evgenis questioned the king who looked to another figure in the room as if asking permission, a hooded one, she was also a member of the chosen but Evgenis did not know who... He had not met many of the chosen in his time, after all, he was given to the Zodiac court as a 'peace offering.'

But the figure spoke instead:

"Her father is Lord Hoshiro, of the Kujaku clan."

"You stole a Phoenix?!" Aries was visibly disturbed - she was one of the high stars to leave their energy on earth to create such a being, thus, a patron of their clan one of many.

"Return her! This will not do! It is kidnapping!" Aries argued.

"You will do as you are told!" Leo stood from his throne and silenced his angered wife.

And that was the end of it... From what Seiren was told there were two others as well - another girl named Hoshino, and a boy named Mamoru, Hoshino was sent to the knights guild, and Mamoru to the high sages to be trained as one of them.

Why didn't Seiren return the child himself? Answer: He can't and I mean he physically could not go against Leo, or the Ales (Chosen leaders.)

So now we are met with this scene, a small babe annoying the long-eared fox by trying to pull his hair, finally, Seiren had enough and looked at her annoyed.

"Stop that you!"

However, Hoshimi just stuck her tongue out:

"Boo!" Her ruby eyes glistened mischievously and she pulled harder.

"Ouch!" Seiren winced but once he saw the baby smiling up at him he sighed and pulled her up so that she could play with his hair without her pulling the life out of him.

*She looks nothing like the Goddess Zuojia who was rumoured to be of pure ice... This child is the exact opposite... How are they related?*

He gazed to the child who was beginning to doze off. Seiren picked her up and walked to his bed... He would need to get a crib in here for the baby or get her, her own room but for now, she could sleep with him in his room, which was mostly just books or scrolls he did not have much time for other activities his job as a chosen kept him busy.

He pulled a blanket over her sleeping body of the infant and just as he was about to pull away from the newborn to continue his work she started to cry tears of flame threatened to burn Seirens sheets and pillows if he did nothing but she tried to calm her down when she grabbed Seirens hand with her tiny small one's making him look down at the baby and sigh before he laid down beside her and closed his eyes drifting off to sleep with his ward, she was trouble going to be a trouble maker, that was for sure, day one and he already had a fire incident he then made a mental note to keep Aquarius nearby or at least a fire extinguisher for his wards next break down. He gazed at the child, she was trouble but she was HIS trouble... At least he was not alone anymore...
