Princess Hoshimi grew into a curious little girl and one day she noticed the silver sigma's meant something they did not mean in most other places - purity. In most places white meant purity, but for some reason here silver was the colour of purity.

Curious she went to Libra and asked him for the story so he sat her on his lap and began the story:

"In ancient times of humanity right after the Highforces dumped humanity on earth a baby girl was born to a tribe of humans... However, the birth of a girl, especially in those times, was not a happy event... At least not for the chief and his people...

"A girl! And the firstborn too!" The tribal humans whispered amongst each other girls did not have the physical strength a man and were only helpful in birthing children and keeping the tribe clean.

The chief was just as dissatisfied as his subjects:

"Ugh, we'll have to try again!"

The only person who was not disappointed was the mother of the child as she weakly rubbed her newborn's cheek lovingly:

"Oh, Katerina. I'm sorry."

The chiefess died that same week due to improper care that was given in the period. Little did she know that she indeed birthed a noble soul who would spend her life helping others, some of whom were not even human.

A few years past and the once small infant grew into a young woman who helped raise the children if the tribe and teach them principles.

To her, every child no matter the race or social standing in society was precious. Thus, she raised kind and gentle people and even after her father banished her from his house after her birth caused the death of her mother his beloved she never turned her back on those who needed help.

However, one day while teaching the village children how to weave baskets she stumbled upon something. A strange creature a golden peacock Kujaku Ririn.

"Oh my!" Katerina was bleeding out and she looked like she was a few months along. So without a second thought, the young Katerina rushed to help.

She pulled the injured queen out of the baskets and made the children promise to not tell the village men for she knew what would happen.

When she got the woman to safety she healed her wounds but realised that the child would most likely not survive due to the injuries sustained.

So she did the only thing she could think to do. She prayed to the heavens. To any kind or decent guardian to save this woman's child... She did, however, suspect that the mother of creation would answer her calls - Fate had heard.

Katerina was on her knees pleading to anything that could hear her when a voice sounded from behind her:

"I can help you but are you sure you wish to save him? The child I mean... He will grow up to hate your race and that will mean you too."

The voice had no form.

"It does not matter if he despises me to his core... Every child is precious. And even if I am a weak and dumb human and simple human I will protect this child. I won't let him go through what I went through if I can help it."

"Very well, child of men who is a treasure among the trash of your kind..." The voice now sounded from a place in the room. A tall grey-haired woman with eyes that held the universe in them.

"Just know that after this you will serve me for a thousand years."

Katerina did not hesitate:

"I will do so as you command but please save this child so that he may live. This may not be a human child but he is a child nonetheless... And every living being is important - He deserves a chance."

So the woman glowed in bright colours and transferred energy to the injured queen's belly.

"It is done."

And she disappeared into the palace of creation once more.

But as she left Katerina fell dead on the floor as Ririn was teleported back to the Kujaku palace.

The silver knight, who was treated like trash but never faltered in her goods deeds died a hero but she was not even buried as the villagers thought her death a suicide this they dumped her body to the side and forgot about their disgraced princess.

Katerina woke in a bed in the palace of creation where she was informed that she'd be meeting with Fate to decide her position in the court.

So she stood up and walked towards the throne room where she was once again met with the mother of the multiverse and crown princess Zuojia.

"Mother, is this the human who has your pants in a twist? She is lovely." Zuojia chuckled.

"Yes, she indeed is... You know what?! I have the perfect title for her - the silver knight. She is not as prideful as gold but just as precious." Fate smiled then turned her face back at the confused knight:

"From now on you shall be known as - Katerina the saint of silver, the silver knight of this realm."

However, her deeds for nature would not stop there it seemed for she also interfered with the fated death of Huli Mei and Long Luhua, and on both occasions, she was harshly punished by Fate however Zuojia managed to ease her mother's wrath at this human who kept putting the sake of nature over her mother's orders.

During her time as a knight, she took on a pupil, Karma the son of Fate and Mao Dong. The second prince of the court of Fate. And the two grew close to one another. Karma as would have appeared to be a creature of both rebellion and complete obedience, ironically he never obeyed his mother's commands... And Katerina could not blame him if given the choice what sane person would?

"Be safe Karma, I will be back soon. I just need to finish my patrol." Katerina smiled at the boy rubbing the white cat on the head while he giggled.

"Okay teacher, be safe too!" Karma giggled seeing his teacher off.

Katerina jumped into the portal and ended up in Egypt she walked around a bit when she saw a couple fleeing and someone or something chasing them she was not allowed to get involved in the situation however even after all the suffering she had endured her heart was still one of kindness and love. She jumped between the couple and the strange creature and killed it. Little did she know by that act she had saved humanity for the couple who she saved were none other than Joseph and Mary who were fleeing from the Jewish king to Egypt.

Fate, however, was not amused by the act of her knight and this time Zuojia could not save her for she was away.

"Katerina of silver you are charged with interfering with the strings of Fate and treason if the highest order and for this your punishment is death." The high courtier ruled just then Karma rushed into the room and begged for them to let his teacher go. However, it was of no use...

He had to watch as the only mother figure he ever had was beheaded right in front of him... However, the story doesn't end here... Karma would not allow it for she was incarnated once more in the body of a small child - Kathryn."
