As I walked out of the old restroom, I saw something.

At first I thought it was a pigeon, but it was something different. It was a owl?

I was confused because yes I wasn't the smartest girl considering I was held in a lab my whole life, but I knew that owls didn't come out during day time.

I looked at it for a bit but then shortly after ignored it and walked back down to the spot under the statue.

I couldn't help but be scared, like I was everyday, every night, all the time.

I guess you can't blame me.

I didn't know if one of the men or woman who walked past me were bad people, bad people who were looking for me to take me back to the lab.

I occasionally would get the "you okay sweetie?"

from a random person walking by.

I would either just shake my head or say yes, because at this point I didn't like talking and to be fair I didn't really know how to, I knew words like "yes" and "no" and I did know how to say a sentence because I had talked before, just not a lot.

The only person I ever had to talk to was papa.

But he was bad.

I couldn't help but think that owl was coming towards me, surely not.

I mean why would a owl come towards me?

As it got closer I noticed there was something in its beak, it looked like a letter.

I was right.

The snowy owl swooped down and dropped the letter on my lap as it placed its self on my bag.

I heard the owl behind me making a loud noise and I turned around.

It was moving it's head forward signalling for me to open it, so thats what I did.
