Chapter 10: Wingardium Leviosa

Our next lesson was charms with Professor Flitwick. Me, y/n walked to class and Ron and Hermione were already there. I had been sat in the middle of Seamus Finnigan and y/n. Poor Ron had been sat next to Hermione and they were arguing.
"One of the wizards more rudimental skills is levitation. Or the ability to make objects fly!" Professor Flitwick began,
y/n looked very interested in charms, but then again she was very interested in every class. She was very smart for someone who never saw the outside world, never mind a world we didn't even know existed.
"And do you all have your feather?" Said Professor Flitwick as Hermione held up her feather.
"Good. Now don't forget the nice wrist movement we've been practicing, the swish and flick." Professor Flitwick said doing the swish and flick movement with his wand.
"Everyone!"
"Swish and flick." We all said in unison.
"Good, and enunciate. Wingardium Leviosa, off you go then!"
We all picked up our wands and started trying the wingardium leviosa charm.
"Wingardium leviosa." I said but nothing happened.
"Wingardium leviosa." y/n said and her feather started to float.
"Ooo well done y/n!" Professor Flitwick said clapping.
"Your a very good witch y/n." I said smiling.
"And your a good wizard, try again."
I held my wand and tried again.
"You need to do the swish slower, here." She said as she grabbed my hand and held my wand with me and did the swish.
Seamus was grinning at me and y/n didn't really seem to care if anyone was watching so neither did I.
"Like that." She said with a smile and let go of my hand.
"Wingardium Leviosa." I said trying once again.
My feather started floating in the air and I smiled.
"Thank you." I said to y/n as she smiled and began picking up her wand doing the charm again.
"Wingardium Leviosa!" Ron began throwing his wand all over.
"Look, stop, stop, stop. Your going to take someones eye out." Hermione began next to him.
"Besides, your saying it wrong, it's LeviOsa. Not Leviosar." She finished.
"You do it then if your so clever. Go on go on!" Ron hissed.
Hermione picked up her wand and looked very confident in herself.
"Wingardium Leviosa." Hermione's feather began to float up in the air.
"Oh, well done! See here everyone! Miss. Grangers done it." Said Professor Flitwick as Ron rolled his eyes.
