Chapter 3. A Pitch Black Date

Div's P.O.V

Justin: Umm....Div.....? Why are you looking at my fanpage?

Oh no!!! Did he see what I was looking at??!! Did he just find out??? What will I do!? What will I say?! What will he say!!?

I should probably stop staring at him speechless and actually say something!! Please don't let me stutter, I really don't want to reenact myself in math class when the teacher asks a question.

Me: U-u-uhh, Y-yeah a-ab-bout t-that I-I u-u—
Justin: Oh, I know what's going on!
Me: Y-y-ou d-do-o?

Shoot! Now he's going to know that I lied to him about everything and he wouldn't want to be my friend anymore. After all, would you want to be with a person who lied to you. I'm so de—

Justin: You overheard my conversation with some of my fans, got curious and wanted to check out if it was true. Right?
Me: W-what? I mean Y-yeah! Yeah, that's what happened. I overheard them talking and you know, I got curious.
Justin: Well, yeah I'm kinda famous on the internet and that is what I was talking about yesterday when I mentioned if you knew me. But please don't treat me differently. I'm still the same Justin.
Me: I know that and I won't! Trust me.

That was a close save. Honestly, I didn't even pay attention what they were talking about. I'm glad that my secret's still safe. I don't know why but I didn't want to tell him that I was also a fan of his. In fact, I'm one of his biggest fans! But as much as I felt guilty for lying, I didn't want to give it away now. He'd probably think I tricked him. I should be more careful from now on.

We hung out more. I would have been still kind of shaken from the 'are you looking at my fanpage' experience but the more I spend time with Justin, the more I felt relaxed and comfortable. All my worries just got out of the window to who knows where. I just hope they don't come back from who knows where.

We decided to visit the Orchard Road next. I've been waiting to buy some souvenirs and do some shopping. Though I almost wasted half of my savings on Axel. Justin also wanted to check it out.

Aunt Tyla advised us to visit it during the evening since it's much more vibrant when it's dark but not to stay there for long since we're after all still 'just kids'.

Justin's P.O.V

Div: I'm so excited! Orchard is one of my favorite locations. ORCHARD ROAD, HERE WE COME!!!
Me: I'm looking forward to it too, especially after all the fun we had at the Merlion Park. And I heard there are pretty cool music shops there too.
Div: I'm so looking forward to shopping but more than that it's going to so beautiful and colorful at night!
Me: Not as beautiful as you.
Div: Huh? I didn't hear that. What did you say Justin?
Me: Nothing. Anyway, let's go!

Man, why did I say that out loud!? That was so embarrassing!!! Good thing Div didn't hear what I said.

Though honestly speaking, I was so pleasantly surprised and extremely overjoyed to know that even though we were somewhat of polar opposites and interested in very different things, we still got long along very well. We were practically perfect together, as friends that is. She also approached me without knowing who I was and still acts the same knowing who I really am, which isn't that big of a deal, but it made very happy.

I'm glad I met someone as nice as her and I'm glad I can be her friend. But the only problem was lately I experienced a few strange things. Like when I was with her my heart starts to beat faster and sometimes I get flustered and turn red. Maybe it was the heat. Well, it must be nothing that serious.
