Erza: " we're almost there! Everyone! Get ready to break through them!"

Everyone held tightly their weapons, ready to fight and kick off anyone who would stand in their way.

As soon as they got closer, they were able to see few troops standing on guard in front of the castle.

When Mizel spotted them, his eyes widened, which wasn't missed by Ruri.

Mizel: " you can't be serious..."...

Erza: " I advise you! Get off the way if you ever wish to live longer! Else we will have to take you down!"

But the troops didn't move an inch. As the army got closer to the mansion, the front line of archers kneeled down and held their bows up at the flying dragons.

The more they got closer, the more Mizel's eyes widened. As Ruri turned her attention to the people in front of them, her eyes widened as well. They all had the same hair, eye and skin colors as well as their cold air.

Their archers shot arrows that soon exploded as soon as they reached them.

Ruri, Mizel and the other magicians protected everyone using a magical barrier.

Erza's eyes narrowed when more arrows were shot, featuring different spells and elements. All the magicians tried their best to continue protecting everyone with their barrier.

Mizel bit his lip as all of his doubts were confirmed when all of the troops members started attacking all at once, using both elements and magic.

Mizel: " as I thought..."

Ruri: " Mizel, those are...."

Mizel: " homunculi."

Ruri's eyes widened even more.

Ruri: " how did they... And all of them as well..."

Mizel grunted as they kept blocking the attacks of the brown haired homunculi.

Erza: " they left us no other choice!"

His eyes widened at her words.

Mizel: " wai-"

But she didn't, almost immediately, Nigreos charged his blast and shot at the troops in front of them, causing a large explosion and tossing a lot of them away.

Mizel had a crunch at that and Ruri didn't help but feeling sorry for that.

It wasn't their mistake. They had always been told that they were created to serve their creator. That they have no choice over whatever they do. They didn't choose to fight them and to stand against them in the first place.
