Hell

Katie's POV 

My bones felt like they were breaking and I was being skinned alive. 

The last thing I remembered was seeing a big portal thing appear before begin sucked into it. I looked around to try and find Billie, but no one else was there with me. Then I saw darkness. 

Which leads me to here, I couldn't open my eyes. They felt heavy. But I could hear roars and metal being clashed with metal. My body hurt, but I didn't feel blood coming out anywhere on my body. 

A loud noise made me jump up and open my eyes. I cried in pain doing so. 

When my eyes finally focused I saw a man in front of me. 

"Your awake. Good." his voice had pain in it.

"Where am I?" I asked looking around. 

I was in a cell looking thing. 

"Hell." And with that he walked away.

This didn't look like the hell everyone described. It wasn't red or hot. 

The air smelled fresh and it looked so pretty. There was an opening, some what of a window, so I walked over to it and I fell in awe at what I saw. 

There was a city, not big, but a average size city. There were buildings, and rivers, with beautiful mountains in the back. 

When I thought of hell, I didn't think of flowers or pretty buildings. 

As I was watching I heard footsteps coming closer to me. I saw it was a woman. 

When she got to me she spoke. Her voice is so familiar. 

"Hello, katie." she said my name with bitter. I knew exactly who it was. 

"Hello, Elizabeth." I pronounced her name like she said mine. 

"wheres Billie?" I was really worried. 

"She's meeting her fiance." 

"What?!" I yelled.

"Yep, Billie said she was over you. I asked her if she wanted you or him. She said he was handsome, and that he could give her what she wanted. I'm so sorry."  she wasn't sorry at all. 

"No! I don't believe you." I said with tears spilling. 

"Awe, your crying. Stop." she looked angry. 

I looked away and wiped my tears. 

"You were never good enough for her. You should be grateful for what you two did have." 

"Then why am I here?" I yelled with pain and anger showing.

"Because your a demon too. I couldn't leave a heart broken demon roaming the streets. You'll live here, in this cage. Its where you belong." She laughed evilly and walked away.

"No." I said before falling to my knees. 

Why would she do this to me? I thought she loved me? I guess not. 

Before I knew it I fell asleep. Its what I usually do when I'm sad. I sleep through it.

"Wake up." 

I felt someone shaking me. 

I opened my eyes to see the guy that I saw earlier. 

"Who are you?" I asked wiping my eyes and sniffing.

"My names Jake." He said with a blank face. 

"How long was I asleep?" I ask

"2 weeks." 

"What! I have never slept that long." I mumbled the last part to myself.

"Its different here at hell." Is all he said before opening the door. 

"What are you doing?" I ask standing up.

"Your taking a shower and eating. You are stinking up the place." 

"I am not!" I say defensively. 

"Whatever, You need to be ready for the coronation."

"what is that?" 

"The next ruler gets its title." 

"And who is the next ruler?" 

" Leader Billie." 

Billie. 

"She will be the next leader of what?" 

"Hell, she will be the new devil. Stop asking so many questions." 

He grabbed my arm and pulled me out. 

"Your hurting me." I whined. 

"I don't care." 

Bitch. 

I pulled my arm away.

"There, that's better." I say as I smile and rub my arm. 

(After the shower) 

I sighed as I walked out of the bathroom door. 

I saw Jake sitting in a seat next to a door, so I walked over. 

"Finally your done. Lets go." He stood up and started walking.

This could be my chance to escape. I looked around to see if anyone was around me. And luckily there wasn't, so I took my chance and ran. 

I didn't bother on looking back I just ran. 

But when I heard my name being yelled and footsteps getting closer is when I started running as I could. 

I finally turned around and looked to see Jake running behind me. He was close, but not close enough. 

But when I turned back around to see where I was running I bumped into someone. 

"S-Sorry" I said getting up.

I went to run again, but stopped when I heard my name. And not from Jake. 

"K-katie?" 

I turned around and saw Billie with a guy. 

Their hands together. 

"Hi, I'm Adrian, Billie's fiance." 

I looked up to see Billie smiling.

I started to feel tears threatening to spill, my heart was broke. 

Billie really wanted him and not me. 

So I shook my head and turned around and ran. Finally letting the tears spill. 

All I heard was Billie say one thing before I got to far. 

"Katie, Wait!" 

But I didn't care what Billie had to say. 

She was happy with him, but she let me stay in a cage. She didn't even come and see me. To say things were over. She just moved on. She was going to get married and be the new leader of Hell. She didn't need me, she needed someone to lead with her, someone strong. Someone who can protect her. That can give her everything she wants. And that was him, not me. 

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I felt a sting in my arm. The last thing I saw was Elizabeth before falling to the floor and meeting darkness yet again.
