The Deal

Finneas's POV 

When Billie said that Katie was a demon I had to check. I made it seem as if I didn't believe. But in reality, I believed. I had to make sure, even if Billie was playing. 

So I did the only thing I promised myself I would never do again 4 years ago. 

"Hello?" I spoke, not wanting to anger him. 

"Ah, Finneas. What are you doing here?" 

"I-Uh. Um." I tried to speak, but I didn't know how to ask it. 

"Spit it out, before you anger me." 

"Ok,ok. Um, is-is Katie a demon?" 

I asked the darkness. He doesn't show himself unless necessary. 

"That's the least of your worries." 

"Why? What do you know?" I step closer to the direction the voice is coming from. 

"I know a lot of things. Ask away." 

"Is Katie a demon?" 

"Yes." 

How did Billie find out? 

Well duh, Katie. But how is Katie one?

"How?" 

"Well, she unlocked it by finding her mate. And her mate did the same." 

Wait?- 

"So, her mate is a demon to?" 

"Yes, duh." 

"And her mate is-"

I was cut off. 

"Yes. Billie, Is that a problem?" 

"Is that a problem! What kind of question is that?! Of course it's a problem. She has a life! She is young, she-she had a future!" 

I know that raising my voice will anger him, but I was confused. Did Billie make a deal that turn her into a demon?

"Don't raise your voice at me!"  He yelled, stepping into the light. 

"I-im sorry. It's just, Did Billie make a deal with you? To turn her into this?" 

"Like you, no. She's not stupid enough to make a deal with the devil."

" Where is he by the way?" 

"He's dead." 

"And who are you? I mean, I thought you were him. You sound like him." 

"I'm his son. Billie's brother." 

what?

"Is this a trick or something?" 

"No, Billie was born a demon. Her mother- our mother is the devils wife. Well, was the devils wife. Both of them are dead. Of course, she herself, miss Katie killed my mother. Which she will pay for. And the devil, was killed by my sister." He spat. 

"Billie?" 

"No, Aqua." 

" Does Billie know this?" 

"Yes, she's known for- what like 3 years, or something." 

"And she never told me." I said more to myself.

"Yep." 

"Wait, what about Katie, did she make a deal to turn into this?" 

"Nope, seems like only you are stupid enough to make a deal with the devil in your family." He laughed evilly. 

"Please, don't hurt Katie. I don't know why, or how she killed your mother. But please, she is my family and Billie's fiance. whoops, was not supposed to say that. But please." I beg. 

"Katie killed my mother none the less. She deserves to pay. My mother was only making sure Billie was loved. And if Katie killed my mother because she asked if Billie was happy. Then- she is sick!" 

"So, she killed your mother because she asked a simple question?"

I don't believe that.

"Yes."

"How do you know? If she is dead, then who told you?" 

" Her guards. They were there. They said they were having dinner and were just making conversation, when Katie snapped my mother neck. And then forced Billie to come back to the living world."

"So Katie is the evil?" 

"Yes. She will hurt our sister if we don't stop her." 

"How do we do that?" 

"Well, I can come back as your new friend. Then we kill Katie. It may hurt Billie mentally for a few days. But the only reason Billie loves Katie is because of the mate bond. Once Katie is dead, the mate bind will be gone, and so will the love Billie feels for Katie. Billie will have a happy life once we do this. And I know you're strong enough to kill Katie and her demon because of your demon, my father gave you. Deal?" 

"Deal."
