Chapter 3:
I was at work for about 2 hours and made $550 from tips tonight. I'm exhausted and am ready to go home. Thankfully Mark didn't have any 'extra jobs' for me to do."Mark can you take me home?" I asked putting Luke's phone number in my phone. Why? Well he looks like he would be a good fuck one day.
"I'm busy can't babe" he said walking by.
"Well how the fuck am I supposed to get home?" I yelled.
"I don't know! Figure it out!" He yelled back.
"You know what? Fuck you!" I screamed before walking out the door making sure to slam it.
I looked around the dark early morning. The wind blowing my hair and the only light is the stars, the moon and four street lights. I took my phone out and dial Jace's number.
It had rang a few times but no answer. I called Carla...no answer. I even called Joseph, but he was too busy doing someth- or should I say someone else. I had no other choice but to call Luke. It rang 4 times before he answered.
"Hello?" A sleepy voice asked.
"Can you pick me up?" I asked back.
"Uhm...sure? Where are you?" I heard some rattling.
"Teasers" I mumbled.
"Teas-sers? Like the strip club Teasers?" He asked carefully
"Yes" I simply replied.
"Uh...okay" he said drowsily. I quickly hung up before he had the chance to change his mind.
I waited for about 10 minutes before I saw the same navy blue Acura. I got in the car and breathed in the car air.
"Hey" he said once I got in. You could tell he had just woke up by his voice. He had on gray sweatpants and a white t-shirt.
"Hi" I mumbled.
"So, Teasers huh?" He said, a small smirk forming on his lips.
"Yes" I breathed out.
"Mind telling me what your doing at...Teasers?" He asked quickly glancing at me.
"It's where I work" I said watching the trees pass by.
"Isn't that like...illegal?" He said replied.
"Nope"
"So you're 18 then?"
"Nope, still got a few more months" I smiled.
"So you're like a...?" He cautiously asked.
"A stripper? Yeah" I'm not going to lie about it. It's better than making up some crazy lie explaining why I'm outside of a strip club at 1 in the morning.
"Don't you have to be like 18 to have that kind of job?" He said speeding up due to the yellow light.
"I'm my case, no" I said wishing he would just drop the subject. I don't want to explain how I got this job. I think he got the hint because he was silent for a few minutes.
"So are you hungry now?" Luke asked looking at me.
"Sure." I said. He drove to a 7/11 and we both got a coffee and a pack of cookies.
"Maybe next time we could get something to really eat. And it won't be 1am." He chuckled.
"Yup" I a small smile tugged at my lips.
