Professor McGonagall: So, I will pick two students, one from their house each, and they will have to answer a total of 5 questions. You need to press the raise hand button first before you answer, and the first person out of the two to press the button and answer correctly will earn 10 points.
Some students look excited and the others look terrified. Harry and Ron are crossing their fingers and Draco's ready for this.
Professor McGonagall: The student I pick from Gryffindor is... Hermione Granger!
The Slytherins groan, the Gryffindors cheer.
Parvati: whispering to Lavender they are so going to lose!
Lavender nods slowly, she never liked Hermione, but now was not the time.
Professor McGonagall: And the student I pick from Slytherin is... Draco Malfoy!
Shit's about to get real. Er, sorry, couldn't help it.. I know I am the narrator just... anyways, moving on!
The Slytherins cheer, but the Gryffindors are confident that they will win. I mean, they do have the smartest person in their year.
This fanfiction pauses.
girl: OI! SHUT UP AND DO YOUR NORMAL NARRATOR JOB! BECAUSE OF YOU BREAKING THE FOUR WALL, I HAD TO DO IT! NOW GET ON WITH IT YOU NOOB!
... ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT!
girl leaves, the fanfic continues.
Professor McGonagall: I hope you understood the rules you two, so, the first question is...
Hermione is alert, all of them are watching, filled with suspense. Draco looks chill but scared at the same time No one is making a sound, it's like dementors are there, everything is hella silent. It's a tense moment, Harry doesn't know who to root for.
(Hurray 969+ words already!)
Professor McGonagall: Which sub-branch or Transfiguration is considered to be the most difficult?
Hermione and Draco press the button at the same time.
Hermione and Draco: HUMAN TRANSFIGURATION!
McGonagall is taken aback. The students are silent, watching.
Professor McGonagall: Well, err... since both of you did it at the same time... I have to ask you another question.
They both groan.
Professor McGonagall: Alright, what spell turns an object to stone?
Draco somehow managed to press the button quicker by a second. Hermione scowls.
Draco: Gulo!
Everyone is surprised, the Slytherins cheer, the Gryffindors are furious.
Professor McGonagall: not really happy That is correct. 10 points to Slytherin.
Blaise unmutes his mic on purpose.
Blaise: You got it Draco!
Pansy: Yeah! Go Dray!
Draco looks at Harry and gives a smirk. Harry rolls his eyes. Hermione is still hopeful.
Professor McGonagall: Now, the next question is...
This time, Hermione is the first to answer correctly, and there are cheers from Gryffindor and boos from Slytherins. McGonagall asks them another question, the questions getting harder, another tie. McGonagall asks another, even harder question, and Draco, his eyes looking at his other screen answered again, no one noticed.
Once again, Hermione answers first correctly and honestly and now, McGonagall asks an impossible question. Hermione thinks for a second but Draco presses the button. People are hella surprised.
Dean: whispering no way he can answer THAT correctly, he's bluffing.
Seamus and the others nod. Slytherins are actually scared.
Surprisingly, Draco answers it correctly (by quickly looking at the other screen) and people are SHOOKETH. Harry doesn't know what to say. McGonagall is too shocked to speak. Draco has a smug grin on his face.
Professor McGonagall: I- wow... that was.. unexpected.. um, I guess Slytherins win...
Cheers erupt from the Slytherins. Hermione is fuming along with Ron, and some others, Harry feels horrible, just because of a blow job-
This fanfic pauses again.
girl appears again.
girl: HEY! THOSE DETAILS ARE NOT NECESSARY-
I DON'T CARE OK, JUST SHUT UP AND LET ME DO THIS IN PEACE. I'LL STOP.
girl looks at the narrator suspiciously and then leaves.
The fanfic continues.
Hermione: He probably cheated!
People look at her. Ron nods furiously.
Professor McGonagall: That is a serious accusation.
Draco: Exactly, I would never do such a thing!
Harry feels horrible.
Seamus: Harry! You are sitting beside him, you know!
Harry: Well, um, Draco was not cheating... I was right beside him and saw no paper or anything. I would have ratted him out I swear, even if I am his boyfriend.
Ron cringed, Draco is smirking, he gives Harry a look of pure affection and Harry can't help but smile a little bit.
Draco: There you have it, even Harry said it.
Professor McGonagall: I believe he won fair and square Miss Granger. Now, you all need to wait for Professor Sprout to join the meeting. Goodbye everyone.
And she leaves.
Yes I know, the chapter was too long so I had to make a part 2. Hope you enjoyed tho! The upload got a little delayed because of my Wattpad crashing.
