[A/N- Plot twist! I give you Liam Payne!]

(Liam P.O.V)

I rub my hands anxiously, debating on what to do. The feel of bruises on my knuckles constantly reminds me of what situation I'm in. That fight with Jaxon did not end well- I'm surprised I made it out alive.

With his anger issues and lack of patients, he's one of the toughest people to 'work' with. I screwed up bad. He got pissed off, and I've managed to loose the goods. Now they'll never get off our backs.

I pace back and forth, running a hand through my hair. What am I going to do? What am I going to do? What- Danielle. She was there. She must have taken it! If she opens that package... No, I'm getting beside myself.

I need to focus on getting it back. Nothing else. I just hope 'he' doesn't find out.

(20 minutes later)

I enter the complex, heading straight for the reception. "Uh, hello. I came to visit Danielle. Would you mind telling me what floor she's on. She, um, left that out." I ask frantically. The lady nods. "And you are?" Shoot. "Her boyfriend." I say without thinking. Wow, this is getting to my head.

"Floor 12, room 28." She says. I nod in thanks, running to the elevator. I anxiously press the button, my palms becoming sweaty. I have to be at the airport in an hour. This better not take long. The doors ding, and I step in. Floor 12. As the compartment moves up, a thought pops into my head.

'What if she doesn't have it?'

I let out a shaky breath, the ride up seeming like a lifetime. As soon as the doors open, I'm flying down the hall. "Room 25, 26, 27, 28!" I rap on the door, silence following. I swallow, knocking numerous times. A blonde lad walks casually down the hall, glancing at me weirdly.

"Um, she's not home." He says. I stop knocking, my heart stopping. I don't have time to look around for her. "D-do you know w-where she might possibly be?" I ask.

He nods, and I sigh in relief. This may not be so hard. "She's on vacation. Got on the plane this last night, actually." He says. My heart stops. No. No, no, no, no, no! This cannot be happening. I tug at my hair. I let out a grunt of frustration.

"Are you alright? You look pale." The blonde inquires. I shake my head, sprinting away from him. I'm so dead! She's probably a mile away now! Oh, I am sooo dead! He's going to kill me.

"Hey, where are you going?" Blondie asks.

"He's going to kill me!" I shout back. Why couldn't she have stayed home? Where is she anyways? I shake my head. I need to worry about keeping my head from now on. But the question still floats around. Where is she-

(Danielle P.O.V)

"Las Vegas!" Hayley yells, stretching her arms out wide. I breath in fresh air, happy to be out of that stuffy plane. I smile at the sight of the big city, putting my sunglasses on. The warm sun feels great against my skin. I follow Hayley as she skips down the road.

"Come on Danni! Catch up!" She yells back. I shake my head, gesturing to my bags. She just sighs, mouthing something to someone behind me. Suddenly, I'm lifted into the air, resting on someone's shoulder. I scream, trying to wriggle out of their grasp.

I hear the laugh of Hayley, and look up at my captor, to see Harry. "Put me down!" I say. He just smirks, shaking his head. "Nope." He days, popping the 'p'. I huff in annoyance, seeing Hayley piling all of our bags into a rental.

"When will you put me down Harry?" I question. "I don't know. 'M not sure I want to." He says in his deep accented voice. I slump feeling him jerk forward into a run. I squeal, trying to hold on for dear life. Soon, I find myself being slung back over, feet now resting on ground again. I hit his arm, scowling at him.

"Don't ever do that again!" I scold.

Suddenly, I feel a large weight on my shoulder, bringing me and Harry together with Hayley in the middle. "Oh stop being such a sour pussy. Say cheese!" She yells. I spot the camera, smiling excitedly, as she snaps the photo. Guess she has a point. We are on vacation. Gotta make the best of it.

"Now off to the hotel!" And she goes running off again. I chuckle, running after her. "Wait for me!"

-8 hours later-

(Liam P.O.V)

His hands grip my shoulder, slamming me into the wall. I grunt, looking up into his bloodshot eyes, the brown reflecting a gold color. "You what?! You know that was the only way they were getting off our tails! You just fucked everything up Liam!" He yells, throwing me out of the way.

I recompose myself. "It wasn't my fault!" I hiss, making him stare at me with his cold, merciless eyes. "Who else's fucking fault could it have been?" He asks, taking slow, menacing steps towards me.

I don't answer for a second. I, I can't pull Danielle into all of this. "You better get talking, Liam." He says. "A girl. She found out about us somehow, and she must have taken it. She left before I could get it back." I say quickly. He runs a hand over his face, his shadow black hair blending with the shadows.

"Shit," he curses, eyes flicking back up at me, "you're not getting out of this. I have business to take care of. Get out." I quickly move out of the room, closing the for behind me. What am I going to do now? I pulled her into something she shouldn't be involved in. We have enough distractions as it is.

I huff, walking down the eerie hallway. Once he has his mind set on something, he never let's it go. And that's what scares me the most.
