A/N- This chapter will be longer. Sorry if the last two were short!

[Danielle P.O.V]
I straighten out my shirt, giddily walking down the crisp white marble floor is the campus. I curtly knock on the door to the principal's office, stepping back a bit. "Come in." I hear secretary Jones shout.
I comply, walking in. "Oh, hello Danielle. Mr. Williams will see you now. Head right on in." She says. I nod, grasping the cold metal of the handle. I turn it, silently walking in. The man in his late 40's looks up upon my entering.
"Ah, Danielle. Take a seat." He says. I timidly step away from the door, sitting down. I tug at my hair nervously as he stares at me. "I'm sure you're wondering why I called you here?" He implies. I gulp, nodding. I hope I'm not in trouble.
"This year we have chosen a select few for the medical program. You and twelve other students who have gained high honors will be working at Peter's Hospital for extra credit, and soon, to land a job." He explains. I frown.
"So, I'll be working my way up to-" I trail off. He nods. "Becoming a surgeon. Yes." He says calmly. I jump up from the chair, knocking it down in the process. "Really?! Oh my gosh! This is great! Thank you! Thank you, thank you, thank-" I stop yelling, realizing how crazy I must look. I blush, picking up my chair.
"Oh, sorry. Um, thank you, sir." I say. He smiles. "Your very welcome. You may leave." He says. I exit his office, screaming inwardly. I'll be living my dream- well, working up to it. I'm so excited! I have to tell Hayley!
Then, realization hits me. I have lunch with her and her boyfriend today. It definitely won't be our usual best friend lunch get together. I'll worry about that later, I just need to focus on returning to class.
(2 hours later)
I push open the glass door to the small restaurant, the bell jingling as I walk in. The hostess smiles at me as I walk up to the desk.
"Um, reservation under Styles." I say unsurely. She nods, leading me to the back if the room. "Have a nice time!" She says, turning on her heel.
I slide into the chair, patiently waiting for Hayley and her 'guest'. I drum my fingers on the table, trying to busy myself. I pull out my phone, checking for any missed texts or calls. One missed call from, Rick. Of course.
I frown, looking at my mother's contact. She never calls anymore. What type of mother doesn't call her own daughter for nine months?! Never mind her. Maybe later I can call Marl-
"Boo!!!" Someone screams behind me. I jump, my phone falling onto the table. I turn around, seeing Hayley nearly rolling in the ground in laughter.
I glare at her as she slides in across from me. She holds her stomach, pretending to wipe away stray tears. "Oh wow Danni, that never gets old!" She says, her laughing ceasing to a giggle. I roll my eyes.
"It wasn't that funny," I say, but she just shakes her head, giggling still. I look at her appearance, seeing she did her make up cat a style, wearing a light blue knee length dress. I glance casually under the table, seeing her feet adorned in midnight blue pumps.
I look down at my own outfit, grimacing at the kitten hoodie and tight-ish jeans. My regular black converse on my feet. "You look nice though." Hayley says. I meet her eyes again, smiling a bit. "I wouldn't have thought so. You look really nice though. Nice make up." I compliment.
She arches an eyebrow. "Why do you do that?" She inquires. "Do what?" I ask. "You know, whenever I compliment you, you always-" she trails off, her eyes wandering somewhere behind me. "-Harry!" She squeals, jumping from her seat. "Harry?" I mumble, turning slightly to see Hayley hugging a young man.
I hate to admit it, but damn, he's pretty good looking. From what I can see, at least.
She pulls away from him, leading him over to the table. "Okay. Danielle, this is my boyfriend, Harry. Harry Styles. Harry, this is my best friend, Danielle." She introduces him. I smile kindly at him, his green eyes sparkling as he flashes oin back. They sit down in front of me, getting comfortable with the exterior of the place.
"Its nice to meet you Harry. I've heard- a lot about you." I say, glancing at Hayley. He glances at her as well. "I see. I've heard a lot about you too. A surgeon?" He implies. I nod, blushing slightly. His accent is pretty sexy too. This one may be a keeper.
"Yeah. I'm still working up to it though." I say sheepishly. I glance back at Hayley, seeing her nervously play with her hair. I nod at her, giving her a friendly smile. She slightly calms, glancing around the room.
Her hand shoots up, as she slightly stands from her seat. "Oh, waiter! Waiter! We're ready!" She calks out. I chuckle along with Harry as she disrupts the rest of the room. This may not be so bad after all.
*************************************
I stand in from of Hayley with a judgmental look on my face. I roll my eyes, nodding my head. "He's a keeper. He should be a great boyfriend. He'll keep you safe." I assure her. With that, she screams, wrapping her slender arms around me in a friendly way. I laugh, happy to see her reaction.
I guess my news can wait until later, because I have a feeling she and Harry will need some space for a while.

Hope this was better! Got some nice Harley action planned later on! Don't worry! It'll get to Zayn and Danielle pretty soon!
