CHAPTER FOUR

"Are you ready?" Padma asked the nervous girl.

Tiffany bit her lip and respond. "Yes, I'm ready"

The two girls entered the classroom seeing the whole class making loud noises while making fun of their friends. The students stopped talking when they noticed Tiffany went inside the classroom and watch how she gracefully sat  down on a empty table together with Padma. The students began going back to there respective places and stared at their new classmate who just arrived awhile ago in the morning. The classroom became silent for a moment and shifted to their sit, while not knowing what's making them do to have impact on them when the certain new girl entered the room. The young lady didn't know what to do since she's just new and never met her classmates for the years of her education in Hogwarts, resting her arms on the wooden desk.

The boy in front of her wearing glasses faced her direction and gave a welcoming look. "Hello Tiffany. My name is Harry Potter, congratulations by the way for being sorted in the house of Ravenclaw"

Tiffany gave him a warm smile and said. "Hello Harry, it's nice to meet you and my name is Tiffany Wong. I was born and raised in Paris, France. I hope we get along throughout the years we'll be staying here in Hogwarts"

"That's great! The boy beside me is Ron Weasley and the girl in front of him is Hermione Granger" He pointed at the red bushy haired girl and the ginger boy who's looking at the new girl with dreamy look which made Hermione hit Ron on the head with a newspaper.

"Aw that hurts Hermione!" The ginger boy whined at the girl.

"You look like an idiot in front of our new classmate" Hermione snorted at the silly boy and turned to the new girl with a friendly smile. "I'm sorry about my friend... he's being ridiculous sometimes"

Tiffany waved both of her hands in front of her and reassure the bushy haired girl. "Don't worry about it, Hermione. It's nothing harmful"

"Show off Potter! Let us all introduce ourselves to our new classmate" The Slytherin Prince snapped at the boy wearing glasses who just shook his head at the spoiled brat. Everyone started introducing themselves one by one to Tiffany who was glad to see them all in person and formally introduced herself again to the whole class. Tiffany recognized the bucked tooth boy whom she saw early in the morning while talking to Professor Mcgonagall and Mr Filch. Neville didn't expect the gorgeous girl to remember him awhile ago and blushed furiously while thinking of how forgetful he can be, especially with the stuffs needed.

Tiffany caught Goyle staring at her with intent look and smirked at her from across, that gave the girl some chills through her back and turned her attention in front. Draco noticed the look that his friend gave to their new classmate and nudge him at his side who just shook his head and face in front of the room. Goyle once again glance at the girl secretly while arms crossed over his chest and raised his eyebrows from the weird feeling that he's having right now. Harry started another conversation with Tiffany about she finds Hogwarts so far, the young lady responded with a pleasant response of how beautiful and amazing the school looks since she never seen one before. Ron told Tiffany that she and her brother should've been sorted in Gryffindor since they have the characteristics of being one, saying that her and Magnus are perfect to be Gryffindor students.

The Weasley boy was glad that Malfoy wasn't able to hear his opinion about the Wong siblings getting sorted in the house of Gryffindor. For sure, the Slytherin Prince would argue about his statement since he thinks the siblings should've been both in Slytherin House since they're pure blooded Veela's and have characteristics what it takes to be a Slytherin. Draco thinks that it would be best for them to be with pure bloods and not with mud bloods, since they should maintain the pure blood lineage of their ancestors. Harry commented that she and Magnus should've started attending Hogwarts before, so that they were able to see them all getting sorted into the houses and the fun adventure they had few years ago. Tiffany was delighted to hear that the golden trio was able to experience such fun adventures few years ago, unlike her and Magnus staying in the mansion the whole time.

The whole students stopped talking when Professor Mcgonagall entered the classroom while holding her wand and greeted the children. The students greeted back at the teacher while bringing out their books for transfiguration class and gave Tiffany a small smile which made the girl return one. Professor Mcgonagall told her students to bring out their wands since they'll be practicing using the spell in vanishing an object in front of them. The Professor summoned vases on top of the table of the students for them to practice the spell of Evanesco; the vanishing spell. Tiffany was the only that doesn't have a wand since she can perform magic without using one and do wandless magic, she and Magnus have been practicing at the mansion. Padma gave her seat mate a look and noticed that she's not holding any wand, asking her if she lost it while on their way to the wizarding world.

Harry turned around and raised his eyebrows, seeing Tiffany not holding a wand and called the teacher. "Professor Mcgonagall. Tiffany doesn't have any wand, is there any chance that she wasn't able to buy one at the shop?"

Hermione literally faced palmed and shook her head at the clueless 'The boy who lived', knowing that some of her classmates wasn't aware of her situation. Ron Weasley doesn't have any clue about the reaction of his girl best friend towards Harry's question to the teacher and remain silent like the rest of the students.

Draco Malfoy broke the silence and said. "I think that old man forgot to give the faire lady a wand before going to Hogwarts"

"Mr. Potter and Mr. Malfoy. It's not necessary for Ms. Wong and her brother to buy one" Professor Mcgonagall gestured at the young lady.

Draco narrowed his eyebrows in confusion and asked the teacher. "If she doesn't have a wand.. how will she be able to perform or use magic without the wand?"

"I think I'll let Ms. Granger to answer your question since she's aware of the reason" The teacher nodded at the bushy haired girl sitting in front of Harry and Ron while turning to face everyone.

Hermione opened her mouth and begin talking. "As you all know that pure blooded Veela's can perform magic without using a wand, however; half-Veela's requires to use wands since their blood isn't enough to do wandless magic because their only half-blood"

Draco never heard of the information and leaned his back to the chair with a smirk. "I see... so Tiffany wouldn't have any problems in using magic since Pureblooded Veela's doesn't require to use one because she's Pureblood and have strength as a Veela herself. Thank you Granger, for explaining us the situation"

Hermione gave the Slytherin Prince a fake smile and said. "You're always Malfoy and you don't have to mention the word 'Pureblood'  because I'm aware of the blood status"

Theodore Nott, one of the friends of Malfoy made a ridiculous statement. "We should vote Granger as our President; although we don't want a mudblood being one"

"That's enough Mr. Nott! I expect the class to respect each other whether they have different blood status from you all. Am I clear to everyone?"

"Yes, Professor Mcgonagall!" The students said in unison. Tiffany was uncomfortable to hear the words that came out from the mouth of Draco and have the nerves of mentioning about blood status to the whole class. Even though her family believed that they should protect their blood lineages; they still respect the blood status of the people surrounding them and treat them with respect.

Padma leaned to Tiffany's ear and whispered. "Cho was right that you should be careful of Malfoy, I think you're aware of what he was trying to say awhile ago"

Tiffany nodded and whispered back to her. "Yes, thank you for reminding me Padma. I didn't like what he said towards Hermione, she was only trying to explain everyone about my case of wandless magic"

Tiffany Wong shook her head and returned her attention back to Professor Mcgonagall who's already explaining about the spell of Evanesco.
