Still not glad about the ending, but I think it's hilarious, so kinda makes up for it-

I think...

The same morning, I only got an hour or two of sleep at the most before being woken up.

"Katie!" Travis yelled in my ear. I thought I had left him on the rooftop? What sorcery was this?

"Ugh, let me sleep" I protested, going back to sleep.

"I knew that this bucket of water would have truer use!" he said. Oh, he climbed down. I ignored his comment though, and turned away from him to sleep.

Travis didn't hesitate to dump all the water from the bucket on me. I shot up, throwing the blanket off, and glared at him.

"you're going to pay for that, Stoll," I said, almost daring him to make a cocky remark.

"Yeah, whatever," he shrugged it off, "now, the sooner I can get you out of the cabin, the better," he said, tossing me one of the scrubs.

"the windows again?" I groaned. He nodded.

"Unless you know a way to get the streamers out,"

"Yeah no I don't," I admitted. I climbed down, still soaking wet. Wait, I didn't get my clothes here... eh whatever.

These window panes were much easier to clean than the last ones, and we finished it in a few hours.

As the sky darkened once again, I was back on the roof. I wasn't there for long, however, when I could feel slight drops of water land on my forehead.

My first thought was that it was a prank by the Stoll's. But then I realised I was stuck with one of them, so the chances were low.

My mind came to the conclusion that it was raining.

I didn't dwell on how for very long, and rushed back inside. Just as the rain came down heavily and made the windows of the cabin fog up.

Travis was playing with one of the tennis balls while lying on one of the top bunks. He didn't seem to notice the noise.

"Travis!" I called, climbing up the first few steps of the ladder and snapping my fingers in front of his face.

"Wha-" he was about to ask, but I gestured to the window crossly. His eyes widened, and he climbed down.

"What the actual hell?" I asked him, "is this another one of your pranks?"

"I have literally been sitting here all day!" he exclaimed, "believe me, I don't know how it's raining either!"

I groaned and rolled my eyes. Great, the only place where I could be away from him was now forbidden.

Screw my luck.

Actually, no.

I apologise.

Dear fates, I am very sorry.

I did not mean that.

Please don't make my luck worse.

Wait, can it be worse than it is-?

Of course it can.

Oh great, now I'm having a conversation with my conscience.

Wow. This is really driving me insane.
