I have to start writing the actual story after editing this chappie 😭😭😭

When I woke up again, I could only hear the slight patter of rain on the roof.

What the actual frickle frackle? How was it still raining?

"Has it stopped raining yet?" I asked Travis. He did not reply. "Travis?" I asked again.

I looked over to see he had fallen asleep in the same armchair he had been sitting on when I fell asleep.

"Travis!" I yelled, he jumped awake,

"What, Katie-Kat?" he asked, still sleepy.

"For the sake of the gods, stop calling me that!" I said, "and has it stopped raining?"

"no," he replied, before stretching and relaxing back on the armchair.

I went back to sleep after waiting for the rain to stop for another half an hour.

The next time I woke up, it was still raining. If it kept raining the whole day, the crops would be ruined. Travis was up too.

"Since I can't call you Kit Kat, can I call you Kateh?" he said,

"I've given up," I said, turning over in bed to face the wall away from him. "Twenty questions again?" I asked him,"because I do not have enough energy to get out,"

"And I thought you were hard-working," he joked.

"Oh, I am hard-working," I said, "but everyone needs a break sometimes, and I haven't had one in ages,"

"But the rest of the Demeter cabin helps you," he said,

"Yeah, but that makes it ten times harder, because I have to do my work AND make sure the younger campers don't mess anything up, especially Miranda," I said, "she always plants the weeds instead of taking them out," I said, turning back around to face him.

"How is it still raining?" he groaned, I just rolled my eyes.

"the crops will be flooded," I said, then my eyes widened. "the crops will be flooded." I repeated.

"like you have any, we just destroyed them..." he muttered, warning a glare.

"no that's not what I meant." I cut him off.

"continue..."

"if it was raining," I said, "wouldn't the rest of camp be worried too?"

"but it's only raining here-"

"I think the border is removed from the Hermes cabin," I said, "only the Hermes cabin."

"Um...what?" Travis asked,

"The border," I explained, "it's around the other cabins, so no monster can attack, but it's not there on the Hermes cabin," I said, "Oh my gods... I forgot we did that!" I exclaimed.

"You did what!?" Travis asked, shocked.

"oh, stop acting surprised!" I exclaimed.

"okay, okay..." Travis said.

"We removed the border for the Hermes cabin," I said, "no monster can attack, but it can still rain and everything, "Yeah, I think I need some more rest..." I said, turning around in the bunk I had chosen. He also sighed, and the room slipped into silence again.
