After a short while, the man started to pick up the pace, widening his steps as the applicants started running after him.
"I had forgotten to introduce myself, I'm Satotz, your examiner for Phase One, I shall be leading you to the exam's Second Phase." The examiner informed.
"The Second Phase? What about Phase One?" Airen, who was running alongside Hanzo, who had asked the question, stared at him blankly, wondering where his brain cells from earlier had gone to.
Does he even have one?-, She stops herself, silently apologizing to the said shinobi in her mind.
"Phase One has already commenced." The examiner says as the applicants broke out into murmurs. "You must follow me to Phase Two, This is the exam's First Phase." He adds, saying that all the applicants needed to do, was to follow him.
Airen wondered, was this a test of their endurance and stamina, or was it also of mental fortitude? with a small smile gracing her lips, getting more interested in this 'exam'.
It has certainly been a while, and it seems that many applicants have already dropped out, collapsing and heaving on the floor, trying to catch their breaths.
She turned her head to a chubby guy, who was holding a device she wasn't accustomed to, she watched him put on a smug smile as he picked up his pace, catching up to the examiner.
If what she was guessing was right, this person thinks that the first phase will reach its end soon.
Taking a glance at the person's belonging, she was boggled that she couldn't read anything.
She slows down her pace, still not breaking a sweat as she neared Leorio, despite her mind going against the thought, she greeted the guy with a faked small smile to appear less hostile.
"May I ask something?" she asks, before getting cut off as the white-haired boy from earlier who was on his skateboard, rode past us as Leorio called him out.
"Hora! matte gaki! You should give the Hunter exam some respect!" he complained, "What do you mean?" the kid asked, looking back at Leorio.
"Why are you using a skateboard? That's cheating!" He pointed out, "Why?" the kid asked again, "Why?- This is an endurance test!"
"It isn't" "No, it isn't."
Airen and Gon stated simultaneously, turning to each other, Airen continued, "Satotz-sama only told us to follow him." she stated, with Gon nodding in response.
