Chapter 14

*2 weeks later*

Andrew never left the hospital and never left Sarah's side. The twins still hadn't been discharged. Sarah had her intubation tube taken out because she was just strong enough to breath without it. Sarah's family would come in every few days.

Andrew was sat in the chair holding both the twins and was crying like he did every day. He had his eyes closed.

He was crying for about 10 minutes when he heard a quiet woman say "I thought babies were supposed to cry not fully grown men. You silly stupid handsome gorgeous cry baby..." Andrew automatically recognized the voice. He looked up and at Sarah who was looking back at him with a weak smile.

"Sarah my beautiful darling wife." Andrew smiled "I would get up and kiss you but I have our babies on me."

"I wanna see them." Andrew stood up and sat on the edge of Sarah's bed.

"Sarah this one is Erik Brightman-Lloyd Webber." Andrew said handing Erik to Sarah. Sarah's face lit up.

"How long was I out?" Sarah asked stroking Erik's face.

"2 weeks." Celia woke up. "Sarah swap. This one is awake." They swapped the twins around. "Sarah meet Celia Sarah Brightman-Lloyd Webber."

"You settled on the names I suggested."

"I thought I was going to lose you. We weren't able to talk about the names and they needed them."

"Andrew...can you bend down and kiss me. I can't sit up yet." Andrew bent down and softy kissed Sarah. "I love you too... That was the last thing I heard you say..." Andrew kissed her again softly. Celia started fussing.

"She's hungry. I will get the Dr." Andrew found the Dr while still holding Erik. "Dr. Celia is hungry."

"Where is she?" Andrew smiled his first proper smile since the morning of the birth of the twins.

"She is in the arms of her mother."

"Sarah's awake?" Andrew smiled and nodded. The Dr and Andrew went back into the room and walked into Sarah singing gently to Celia.

"I guess nothing will stop you singing will it darling." Andrew said coming over and sitting next to Sarah on her bed.

"You know that no matter how strong I am, I will sing." Andrew stroked her face.

"Sarah are you feeling up to breastfeeding Celia?" The Dr asked.

"I need help sitting up because I'm not strong enough to sit up." The Dr helped Sarah sit up and Sarah started to breastfeed Celia. Andrew put his arm around Sarah and she rested her head on his shoulder. Erik woke up and started fussing as well.

"I think its feeding time for Erik too. Darling are feeling strong enough for a second one." Sarah nodded so Andrew handed Erik to Sarah so she fed both of the twins. It didn't take her long to fall asleep on Andrew's chest. About half an hour later Paula came in to the room and found Andrew cuddled with Sarah with the twins asleep against Sarah's chest. Andrew put his finger to his lip telling her to be quiet. "The twins just fell asleep." Andrew whispered. "Sarah fell asleep half an hour ago."

"She woke up?" Andrew smiled and nodded. "How long was she awake for?"

"Half an hour." Paula went over and kissed Sarah's head. "Im going to get a drink. Do you want one?" Andrew shook his head so Paula walked towards the door. Sarah moved a little and woke up.

"Mum..." Sarah said gently. Paula turned around quickly and looked straight at Sarah. "I would love a drink." Sarah said smirking a little.

"Oh darling I can't believe you're finally awake." Paula came over and kissed Sarah's head.

"Im happy to be awake. I can't believe I missed the first 2 weeks of my babies lifes."

"They missed their mummy even though they only knew your voice." Paula said. "And they are comfortable sleeping on your chest right now."

"It feels great to finally have them here. I've been waiting so long for this." Sarah kissed the twins heads. Sarah, Andrew and Paula then talked for a bit longer until Sarah went to sleep again
