Love Never Dies

Chapter 2

The next morning Sarah woke up to the warmth of an arm around her. She snuggled into it until she remembered who's arm it was. She sat up quickly. Andrew moaned a little.

"Darling what's wrong." He said sleepy, not realizing where he was.

"Andrew wake up. Its morning. We fell asleep." Sarah made sure her body was covered completely and Andrew sat up quickly.

"crap crap crap. What is the time?" Andrew said jumping out of bed and looking for his clothes.

"10:30." Sarah said getting up and getting dressed

"I'm going to be late! Can I borrow your phone to call Michael?" He said putting on his shirt. Sarah handed him her phone. Andrew dialled Michael's number. He answered "Michael has my wife tried to call you yet and are you still at home?"

"No she hasn't tried to call me and I'm just about to leave. Why what's going?" Michael asked.

"can you please tell her if does call that I spent the night at yours and I left my phone in your car and can I please borrow one of your shirts?" Andrew asked while frantically searching for his boxers.

"Yes sure of course but what's going on?"

"I didn't go home last night." He attempted to cover the mic but just missed it and he whispered "Sarah have you seen my boxers? I can't find them."

"I threw them in that direction." She said pointing.

"You slept with Sarah?" Michael asked.

"Yes but I strangely don't regret it either. I have to get ready we just woke up so I'll talk to you later."

"ok bye"

"bye." Andrew hung up then went over and found his boxers and put them and his trousers on. He walked over to Sarah and took her hand. "Last night was amazing. I don't regret anything." He kissed her hand. "I have to go I'm going to be late."

"Do you want me to drive you? I'm heading that way anyway." Sarah said softly, obviously feeling guilty.

"Are you sure?"

"yeah I am."

"Thank you." They both got in Sarah's car and drove silently to the London palladium. Once they arrived Andrew said "Thank you Sarah for the lift and last night."

Sarah, who was unable to look at him because she was about to cry, just said "good bye Andrew." He got out of the car and went into the theatre. As soon as Andrew was out of sight, Sarah burst into tears. She drove back to her hotel, packed up her stuff and went back to her home in Hertfordshire.

Meanwhile Andrew found Michael and changed into one of his shirts.

"Thank you for this. I don't want Madeleine knowing what actually happened last night."

"well you have to come up with a good lie. You have little love bites all over your neck. And you have to think quickly as she's just walking up behind you." Michael left swiftly and Andrew turned to face his wife.

"You didn't come home last night and you weren't answering your phone." Andrew kissed her.

"I'm sorry honey. Me, Sarah and Michael went out for drinks after the after party and I ended up staying the night at Michael's because I was really late and I had a few too many and I left my phone in Michael's car and i just got it out." He kissed her again. "I love you."

"I love you too. I will let you work now. I will see you later." Madeleine left. Andrew quickly pulled out his phone and called Sarah but she didn't pick up. He left it and did the rehearsal. After it was finished he tried calling Sarah and every half hour after but still she didn't answer so he sent her a text saying 'Sarah are you ok? You seemed upset earlier and now you wont answer my calls.'

Sarah texted back 10 minutes later saying 'I won't answer your calls because I have nothing to say. What happened last night should NOT have happened and I regret it. I feel guilty! You are married. I can't look at you without wanting to cry. When I said goodbye earlier that was it. I'm sorry.'

Andrew tried texting her back Sarah dont feel guilty. I don't and I don't regret it either. Just please answer my calls please.' He knew that she wasn't going to. That's the only thing he regretted, losing a friend.
