Worse and worse (Chapter 12)

Shadow walked me home after the awesome visit at the park. I also bought us some Starbucks along the way! But Shadow didn't want anything. I waved goodbye then turned to face my house. Most of the houses in our community are big two-story houses. Ours is different. It's a smaller house,still with two floors, but it only has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths while other homes are closer to mansions. The houses next to ours both have pools, we have a small garden instead. I opened the door and closed it behind me as I walked in. I heard a giggle and looked to my left.

"So, the same hedgehog walked you home AGAIN Hmm?" Mom was sitting on the seat next to the window.

"You were watching me again? Your so creepy!" I giggled. "Very funny. Why were you late?" Oh shoot! I forgot to text her! I guess there is no reason to lie it's not like-" Were you sent to detention!?" She got up and glared at me,"No no! I was just hanging out with Shadow after school." Her expression changed from terrible morning to awesome party."Oh I'm sorr-" she broke into a coughing fit. "Mom!" She held him hand up. "I'm fine!" She smiled and walked into the kitchen.

"Mrs. Rose is getting worse..." I jumped and spun around to find our maid, Kuni standing behind me holding a tray of tea. God I live with creepers!! "You scared me!" She apologized then went to go get my mom tea. What is with them appearing out of no where?! "Another Starbucks, Miss?" She pointed to the Starbucks in my hand. "Heh..." She took it from my hand and followed my mom into the kitchen. "H-hey..." I didn't want to bother Mom, she needs peace and quiet... I walked up the stairs to my room. The door to my room slowly opened revealing a medium sized room. A white dresser, pink full-sized bed, a few stickers on the wall here and there, a normal teen's room. Barking started up in the room. I closed the door behind me and walked over to my dogs' cages. I picked the two up and went back down stairs to the back door. An orange light flooded in as I opened the door, and the puppies ran outside.

I sat down on the steps and took out my phone.

Blaze: So how are you <3

Me: Good, and you :)

Blaze: Fine, so what'd you do with Shadow after school?!

Me: We went to the park and ate somewhere

Blaze: So... How's you mom doing?

I heard a faint coughing noise come from the kitchen

Me: No good :( I'm scared for her...

Blaze: I'm sure she'll get better soon! :3

Me: anyway..cya tomorrow ;)

Blaze: Bai! ;P
