Tukishima pov:

It was a quiet saturday at home, and i was just vibing in my room, with music playing through my headphones, listening to my playlist of songs that are, in my opinion amazing beyond compare. i left the curtains for the large window and i saw something. i moving van, and a small car. 'when did we get new neighbors?' i asked myself. I paused my music and went down. i saw my mom watching tv in the kitchen. "hey mom?"

"yeah kei?"

"since when did we have new neighbors?"

"oh, they just bought the house next to us last week. their moving in today. ive talked to them a little. they seem nice."

"Hmm."

"also they asked about highschools in the area. they said they have a son whos starting highschool this year, like you. and so hes going to be going to kurasuno. you guys night be in the same class. but they said hes not very social and doesn't like people."

"well, we have that in common." i said to myself. i went to the kitchen to grab an apple and went back to my room. i sat down and resumed my music, and decided to read. i ate my apple, and resumed, 'the wonderland effect'. i picked it back up at chapter 5, and at chapter 8, i put it down, and opened my curtains, but once i opened them, my eyes were met by a pair of forest green orbs.

ok i knew they had a son, but i didnt know that he was cute! his hair is slightly long, and a nice color. a brownish green, and it matched his eyes nicely. his freckles were clear, and beautiful. like stars. they stood out well against his pale skin. but something is bothering me. he looks very familiar.

i remember this kid when i was about 4, even though its a vague memory. he was quiet, shy, and always was alone. he was being beaten up one day, and i stood up for him. after that, me and that kid became friends. i dont remember his name or face though. but i do remember, that right before we moved, when i was 6, i gave him a dinosaur plushie. it was about a foot and a half long, and had a green body, with yellow spikes along its back. i know i had a reason for giving him that specific dinosaur plushie, but i dont remember the reason.

the boy waved slightly, but didnt smile. he seemed confused, and it was clear he was feeling a little awkward. i waved back in the same manor, and he closed his curtains. im standing there dumbfounded. who was this kid? and id be lying if i said i wasn't wondering if he was gay.
