Ethan woke up completely disoriented and with a headache. He sat up but soon realized he couldn't move his hands or legs.

"You're awake? Good." Kai waltzed into the bare and empty room holding Ethan. Kai walked over to tied down boy and stood by his side with a giddy smile on his face. "How are you feeling?" He asked.

"Like, I've been hit by a bus." The Bennett went to touch his head and was restricted, forgetting he was chained to the bed. "Can you take these off?" He asked the siphoner beside him with pleading eyes.

Kai shook his head. "Can't do that. I don't trust you enough, yet." He said as he crouched down to caress Ethan's curly brown hair. "And I can't have you running away from me? Can I?" Kai smirked with a dark look on his face.

Ethan laughed nervously. "Like I would do that-"

"You did it before? Who's to say you won't leave again?!" Kai roughly grabbed Ethan's jaw out of anger forced the boy to face him. "You're not going anywhere, so you might as well get comfortable." He released the boys face and stood up.

"Wait!" Ethan shouted. "Before you leave can I get a glass of water, please?" He asked.

"No." Kai answered before he left.

"Bitch." Ethan said outloud but at the same time he couldn't help but strangely find Kai so sexy during the entire conversation. "I have a problem." He admitted to himself.

Bonnie wake up gasping, after a few hours of being knocked out. The girl sat up taking in their surroundings only to find themselves back in the underground cave.

"Look who's also awake." Kai walked up to the oldest Bennett sibling cheerfully. Bonnie glares at the siphoner. "Oh don't look at me like that, I brought presents."

"Where's my brother?" Bonnie demanded to know where her brother was as she sent a menacing glare at the sociopathic siphoner.

Kai ignoring the girl's demands and instead crouches down and opens his bag and brings out a teddy bear. "Ta-da! Ms. Cuddles! Thought you might want to bring her along."

Bonnie narrows her eyes and snatches the bear from Kai. "Thanks."

"I know you think I'm a monster- I mean, I did murder or heavily maim most of my immediate family, but after a long period of self-reflection, I've come to the conclusion that I could have handled my anger better." Kai said as innocently as he could possibly muster, trying to appear to Bonnie as an innocent boy with anger issues.

Bonnie blankly stared at the siphoner for a while. "You said you wanted to get out of here, and I quote... "To give the rest of the Gemini coven an excruciating death."

"I didn't mean it." Kai denied her claim. "Honestly, I would do anything to get my family back, and the thing I'm most scared of is trying to figure out how to live in the world again. Sort of hoping you've been a positive influence on me. You're a good person, Bonnie. You're brave, loyal, patient. I want to be more like you." Kai said in a light and cheerful tone.

"What do you say? Friends?" Kai asked using the same high-pitched voice he used to imitate Ms. Cuddles. Bonnie stared at Kai with raised brows. "...and I'll take you to your brother." He sighed.

Bonnie sighed. "Let's just go home." Kai takes out the Ascendant and gives it to Bonnie.

Come on, your wasting time Bonnie." Kai commented with a twinge of aggression as the girl stood silently under the light of the on coming eclipse. "It's now or never."

Bonnie cuts her hand and drips blood onto the Ascendant. She starts to chant when Kai abruptly grabs her and Ethan's arms.

"Just in case you'd try to go without me." Kai said in a mincing tone as he tightened his hold on the Bennett siblings.

Bonnie continues chanting the spell, ignoring Kai while also trying to find the perfect time to execute her plan to get Ethan, and herself home without dragging a psychopath with them.

The Ascendant suddenly clicks just as the eclipse begins overhead exciting the trio. "So long, 1994." Kai mentally saluted.

"Well to bad because that's where your staying." Bonnie turned around and kneed Kai in the nuts, relinquishing his hold on her and sped up the spell.

"Bonnie, wait!" Ethan shouted as he struggled to break free from Kai's iron grip.

"I'm sorry." Bonnie said just before a flash of white light took her away, just like it did Damon. The Ascendant dropped to the floor and broke into a million pieces, once again.
