Different Path (Obito AU)

Chapter 6

Obito POV:

I head to the Uchiha training ground to meet Ai. She is an Uchiha and is well known for training younger Uchiha's who either haven't awakened the Sharingan or have newly awakened it. She doesn't say it to me but I know I am damaging to her reputation. I am the only student who has trained under her and hasn't awakened the Sharingan...

Ai is an honoured Kunoichi. She fought in the Second great ninja war when she was a teenager. She killed thousands of ninjas. She has gone in many S-rank missions hand has failed none. Sometimes, she accompanies ANBU. She is ruthless and cold-blooded at times and sweet and caring at another. She can change her personality like a switch. She is highly regarded among the Uchiha. There isn't a single ninja who hasn't heard of her.

Ai is abnormally tall for a female. She is taller than a lot of males. I have heard that when she was a baby, she was experimented on...but those are rumours. They can't be true. Right? She has chestnut-brown medium length hair that is always in a messy plait on her shoulder. Ai has the signature onyx black eyes. She has clear pale skin but her arms are covered in many scars. She told me, they were from fighting but a few were from a cat she was made to retrieve when she was a genin. That reminds me a lot of when Rin, Kakashi and I had to do the same... 

"Morning Obito-Kun!"

"Good Morning Ai-sensei"

"Today for the first session of training, I am going to assess how far we have gotten with your training. Push yourself hard for this!"

I pant as I run another lap around the training grounds.

"Come on Obito! You are on your 58th lap! When we first started you barley managed 3!"

I push myself harder as I think about how Rin said I would become Hokage.

I grin.

Now in case you didn't know, the training grounds are enormous! Imagine the Hokage tower time 15!

After I reached 73, I drop down onto the ground.

"Well done Obito"

Ai hands me some water, I guzzle it down within seconds.

"When you are ready, we will head down to the river and see how large your fire jutsu has become!"

"Fire style: Dragon breathe!"

Massive bright streaks cover the river. The fiery flames dancing over the river and then disappear once they touch the water.

"Very good!"

The kunais are launched into the air at a great speed and embed themselves directly in the middle of the multiple targets, that are placed in very different locations.

"My, my! It is a surprise you can do this well without the Sharingan! It looks like you have been following the training I advised you to do!"

I feel my hair ruffled causing me to pout.

"Obviously! I wanna be strong and become Hokage one day!"

Ai laughs.

"Lord Uchiha huh, that would be nice for a change..."

I give her a confused look as her voice goes dark a the end of her sentence. She has a sinister look in her eyes and her hand was twitching.

"Ai-Sensei?"

She snaps out of her trance and smiles.

"Don't worry about it~"
