Chapter 7

Obito POV:

I walk out of Hokage tower towards my teammates with a sad expression on my face whilst hiding a chuunin vest and certificate behind my back.

"Obito?..."

"SURPRISE!"

I squeal while raising them into the air. Rin gave me her beautiful and angelic smile as she hugs me.

"Well done Obito!"

I blush and grin. I glance over at Kakashi who had an unfamiliar expression on his face.

Was he smiling?

"You finally did it after failing the other two times. I guess the third time really is a charm-"

"BAKASHI!!!"

I arrive at the training grounds...late as usual. I really did help that old lady with her shopping but none of them believe me. Well, I don't know about Minato sensei. He is unreadable.

"Obito how about we spar together? I haven't sparred with you for a while now."

I look at Minato Sensei.

I give a goofy grin and get into a fighting stance.

I charge right at him, keeping wary that he might use the Hiraishin to teleport behind me. I jab my left arm first, of course, he catches it.

I gather chakra in my right arm and push it forward aimed for his shoulder.

He teleports.

I backflip away immediately. Just dodging an airborne Minato sensei.

"Nice one Obito!"

I am on the ground panting. I am drained.

"You lasted longer than Kakashi. That is a great improvement!"

I turn my head sideways to see a fuming Kakashi. I smugly grin.

"heh, bakashi."

"You-"

"Now now boys~"

Rin interrupts, ceasing the fire.

I stand up and walk up to Kakashi and whisper in his ear.

"Bakashi~ I'll only be getting stronger from here."

He rolls his eyes.

"Soon you'll be bowing down to me~"
