Different Path (Obito AU)

Chapter 3

Obito POV:

I smile as I watch Rin laugh. She is an angel.

We were walking by Minato-Sensei's house when we heard Kushina-San scolding him for not making the bed.

Minato-Sensei eventually came out with a bump on his head.

Where is Kakashi? Normally he is there before everyone.

I turn around and see Kakashi sitting boredly on a tree. He staring right at me.

I must have caught his curiosity when he saw me yesterday... Ah well, no hiding now I guess~

I see Kakashi leaning on the trunk of the tree, gazing at the floating clouds. I mask my presence and sneak up behind him.

"Boo~"

He must have got whiplash from the way he swung around to see me. He was shocked.

"I didn't expect that from you Obito"

I grin.

"Wanna spar?"

"We have to save chakra for the mission"

"Taijutsu only then"

Kakashi stood still.

"Chicken"

"What was that!" 

A tick mark grew on his face.

"Bok Bok~"

He growled and got into a fighting stance.

Kakashi POV:

Obito's cocky behaviour is normal, but the way he snuck up on me isn't.

He charged at me, I step to the side and put my leg out to trip him. He stops on my foot. He aims a punch to my gut, due to my foot being held hostage, I catch the punch but to my surprise, his fist wasn't slowed down by my hands, they pushed through them and connected with my stomach. I fall back and Obito pins me to the ground.

What is he on?

My ego wants to use chakra to flip him over but I have to save it for a mission.

He pulls out a Kunai and slams it into the ground, centimetres away from my shoulder. It pinned the fabric of my shirt to the ground.

"Obito!"

I yelp as his hand caressed my face. He smirks at me.

"Kakashi"
He says in a deep voice, completely different from his high and immature one. His index finger slide under the top of my mask. My heart rushes.

"Obito, let's talk this out!"

I try negotiating but his other hand touches my lips. He tugs gently at my mask. I squirm underneath his weight.

"Kakashi?"

Rin's voice echoes from a distance. Obito jumps off me and his kunai was removed and placed into his kunai pouch.

"Obito you are on time!"
