"A...therapist." Ink looked at him skeptically. "Yes. Clinicus is the best therapist." Clinicus looked over at them from his desk. The room itself wasn't that special. Yes, it was big, it had a mahogany desk with a large plush rolling chair, with Clinicus currently occupying it. Nightmare was in one of the soft chairs scattered across the room, a large window behind him. Ink was in the other, twiddling his thumbs. It was just them in the room. Them and him. "Clinicus wishes for you to calm down. He thinks that being tense will not help the situation at hand." Clinicus murmured, writing on his hand with a pen. "What are you even writing?" Asked Nightmare, huffing impatiently."Clinicus is speaking to his friends. He doesn't like talking to them out loud." Ink looked around. "Alright, who are these 'friends'?" He scowled slightly. Clinicus barred his teeth at Ink. "Why must the squid know of my secrets?" Nightmare glared at him too. "Because we got fucking summoned here, against our will, and we don't even know if we can trust you!" Clinicus didn't flinch at his harsh tone. In fact, he laughed. He looked a bit insane as he cackled. "Clinicus is amused by you." he stood up and paced around a bit, biting at his fingers. Nightmare grabbed him with a tentacle, dangling him by his neck. "Give. Us. Answers." Clinicus didn't seem fazed, he simply continued to bite at his fingers. "Or I'll shove this tentacle through your ribcage." He positioned another tentacle at Clinicus's torso, dangerously close. "Clinicus is even more amused by your efforts. You can't kill Clinicus, whether you wish to or not." He grinned, a sticker falling from his face. He quickly pulled out a sticker pad and replaced it. "Clinicus cannot be killed, whether he wishes to be or not is classified." He pulled Nightmare's tentacles away, seeming tense. He waved the two over to another room, quickly entering himself. They followed him, jumping slightly as the door slammed shut. "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?" Nightmare glared at him, all his tentacles aimed at Clinicus's back. "Do not worry. If Clinicus wished to kill you, had he the ability to, it would be done thus far." A knife appeared beside Nightmare's head, impaled perfectly in the wall an inch away. He shrank back as Clinicus giggled. "As he said, if he'd been able to kill you, if he'd wanted you dead, you would've been dead a long time ago!" He skipped away into another room, leaving Nightmare and Ink in that one. They looked around, it was a large living room. It was monochrome with splashes of pastel color on the black couches, pale greens and light blues, light yellows and pinks plastered all over. The television was a light green as well, the couches plump and soft. There were three steaming cups on a white table, one filled with cider, one filled with coffee, and one filled with tea. Steam flowed from the warm cups, filling the room with pleasant scents. There was a plate of freshly baked brownies near them, as well as a bowl filled with candies and stickers. Stuffed animals littered the would-be clean room, toy bears and long lemurs slung all over. A small hamster poked it's head out of it's cage, a bunny popping out as well and going over to Nightmare. Clinicus came back out, holding a frog. "These are Clinicus's pets... they calm him down when he's stressed. Would you like to hold one?" Nightmare picked up the bunny curiously, Ink picking up the hamster. "What are their names?" Asked Ink as he gently patted the hamster. "The bunny is Sunflower, and the hamster is Chamomile. The frog is named Frogie." He patted the frog on the back before sitting it on his head. Nightmare glared at the rabbit. "Sunflower-?" he sounded a bit curious as he asked this. "Clinicus found her in a field of sunflowers." He murmured quietly, going over to the wall and picking up a sleeping cat. He patted it's pale green fur and smiled. "This is Minty Green... he was my first pet." He didn't speak in first person for once, and a tear trickled down his face. "Enough about Clinicus. What seems to be your problems?" He sat behind the table and picked up the coffee, sipping at it quietly. His face was slightly purple as the room was cold, a few faint freckles appearing on his sticker covered face as he patted his kitty. The frog was still on his head as he focused on the two skeletons now in front of him. "We have no problems." Nightmare's voice was hushed as he tried not to wake the now sleeping animals. "Both you and Clinicus know that is a fabrication. You're scared to tell them. And your behavior suggests you're scared to tell anyone." He patted the cat again, looking at the silent Ink. "You've said nothing in quite some time. Clinicus assumes you're tense." Ink nodded slowly and eyed the teacup in front of him. "Clinicus assures you, it is safe." Ink nodded again and took a sip. He almost instantaneously relaxed, patting the hamster again with a small smile. "You're scared how they will react. Am I right?" Nightmare nodded a bit tersely. "Drink, it's good for you." Clinicus spoke quietly, sipping at his coffee again. Nightmare warily took a sip of the cider and relaxed as well. "What is...in this?" Clinicus smiled. "It's Clinicus's own blend. It's made specifically to help calm you. This recipe was passed down by someone Clinicus knew... they were good at what they did. The herbs in your drinks should help you relax." He began petting the cat gently again, smiling lightly. "In Clinicus's opinion, it would be best to tell them as soon as possible. This way they are not surprised. If they do not accept you, they were never your friends." They nodded and stood up. "Clinicus asks that you do not reveal him. There are..certain people, who if got wind of my existence..." he shuddered a bit, his smile disappearing. "They would do what they did last time. Clinicus does not wish to relive those memories. Please keep him a secret." Ink smiled a bit and patted Clinicus slightly. "We won't reveal you, don't worry." Clinicus smiled again. "He thanks you. Now you must go, simply walk outside. The door will close behind you and Clinicus shall disappear. You probably shall not see him again, at least not in this story. You might, you might not. It depends on the person pulling the strings." Clinicus smiled sadly. "Clinicus asks that you try not to forget him. It's been many years since he's talked to anyone but his friends, and it would be nice if others remembered his face..." Nightmare nodded. "We will not forget you." They both turned towards the door, walking out. It shut behind them with a slam, Clinicus and his pets disappearing behind a blanket of fog.

Three hours later, everything was set. The bad sanses, Error, Farm, Lust, Passive Nightmare (somehow-), Classic, Ccino, Fell, Reaper, Geno, Epic and the other Stars were at Nightmare's castle, all in costume. Nightmare walked down the stairs, scowling slightly. "Ink and I have an announcement." The others all stopped what they were doing, looking at him in confusion. "The Squid and I are-"

He was cut off. Despite his short size, Ink easily pulled Nightmare into a dip and kissed him, Nightmare wrapping his arms around his neck.

A loud cheer erupted from the audience as they watched the couple happily kiss. "NOW, LET'S FUCKING PARTY!"

Another loud cheer could be heard, everyone going over to the drinks and getting absolutely wasted. There might've been an EpicCross makeout session, Blue might've gotten a hickey from Passi, and Horror might've gotten another carrot shoved up his ass, but you won't know that.

Clinicus looked out his window with a sad smile, patting Minty Green on the head.
