SHILLA HOTEL, SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA - SATURDAY, AUGUST 2020

Kim Hyun-Bin has had enough.

That infant Lee Seung-Gi was the last straw.

He'd tried to abide by her wishes and act like strangers around others, but there was only so much he could take.

Everywhere she went, the damned wolves were circling.

It was exhausting.

Almost a decade of the same, and this time he couldn't even piss and mark his territory.

Watching every other bastard falling all over themselves attempting to possess her while he'd had to stand back and pretend that she'd never been his...

He physically shook his head.

Son Ye-Jin was his woman. She'd always been his. He was her first and he was damned going to be her last.

He watched the double doors of the ballroom like a hawk stalking its prey. The moment it slipped open and she emerged from the doors, without hesitation, he grabbed her right hand and pulled her towards him, automatically entwining their fingers.

He heard her surprised gasp behind him as he pulled her towards the banks of elevators.

"Bin!"

He ignored her plea to slow down and pushed on the up button forcefully and repeatedly. He didn't give a flying fuck who saw them together at this point, he was driven by a far more primitive need, the need to stamp his mark on her permanently and irrevocably, and he figured she'd rather they take each other in private than in front of every chaebol family in Seoul.

He felt Ye-Jin's hand tighten in his. She looked frantically around them. "Anyone can see us."

He pushed the call button once more. "No need to be afraid anymore, baby," he assured her, still avoiding looking at the golden dress that had slayed every man in the ballroom, including him.

"Just tell me what's this all about. We don't need to go far."

The elevator finally arrived and he pulled her in quickly before anyone could sneak in with them. He wasn't in the mood to share tonight, he'd had enough of sharing her with others all these years. She was for him now, and him alone.
