Danny started to teach them how to control their ghost powers although they know in theory about how to control it due to the knowledge from clockwork and the times that they saw Danny and other ghosts do it, Experiencing it for yourself and actually doing it is still different.
"Everyone can have different interpretations on how to access their own ghost abilities so once you accidentally do it, memorize the feeling and then try to recreate it" Danny said while walking back and forth and wouldn't tell the three new halfas his tricks.
"Ellie, How did you do it?" Jazz gave up which was surprising due to how stubborn she was but it could also be argued that she didn't have enough experience with ghosts that's why she gave up early.
"Hmm... Aunt Jazz Daddy is correct with your abilities will be easier to use depending on your interpretation about the ability, like for example intangibility, one can interpret it as being like water without a container making you being slightly felt but can't at the same time but it will make you lose your form easier" Dani answered.
"Long story short what you interpret it as will be crucial for maintaining your identity in the Ghost Zone especially about what your obsession is and how you died, or in our case electrocution" Danny said.
"Daddy I think I am exempted from that, I am after all an artificial being" Dani said although it hurt her by just saying it, it was true nonetheless.
"Ellie, you are my and Sam's daughter don't forget that we don't care how you came to be since that doesn't matter, we only care about how we will spend our lives- half-lives with you" Danny comforted Dani by hugging her and rubbing her back.
Sam, Tucker, and Jazz got onto the hug as well and later they found out as if that hug was a key or trigger to enlightenment they already almost mastered their basic abilities.
The mystery trio arrived in school surprisingly early and went inside their classroom then sat at their respective seats. They waited for Mr. Lancer to announce the new transfer student Dani.
"Okay class we have a transfer student she is a little younger than you but she is smart" Mr. Lancer said and then gestured for Ellie to come inside.
"Hello! My name is Danielle Jane Fenton, oh but you can call me Ellie if you want so that no one will accidentally call for my cousin and I hope we can be good friends" Dani said while bowing her head and smiling. The three felt extremely proud seeing Dani growing up.
Danny quickly looked in Tucker's direction only to see him snapping pictures and recording the entire speech of Dani at the same time.
The five of them unanimously decided to use the cousin story so that no one will suspect except they seem to have forgotten about someone that knows that Dani Phantom and Danny Phantom are also cousins.
"Tucker you have to send those pictures to me" Danny whisper to Tucker who wouldn't stop snapping one picture from another and actually got the hang of controlling his powers in order to do just this.
"Sure dude I am so proud of my niece" Tucker whispered back to his best friend.
"You can take a sit between Mr. Fenton and Ms. Manson" Mr. Lancer gestured towards the mystery trio.
"Thank you Mr. Lancer" Dani smiled again.
'I can't take it I'm gonna die out of her cuteness' Danny, Sam, Tucker, Valerie, and Mr. Lancer all thought.
"Ha! she's named after the loser Fenturd over there now I have two punching bags" Dash said while trying to punch Ellie.
Saying that Danny wasn't angry is a humongous understatement, he is absolutely FURIOUS, it could be clearly seen how his eyes are changing from ocean blue to a dangerously dark red. Danny stood up and punched Dash in the face before he could even react much less hit Dani.
'No one's gonna hurt my little girl while I am around' Danny thought while looking down on Dash.
Thankfully Tucker was recording the entire thing when it happened.
"What's going on over there?!!" Mr. Lancer shouted then he looked in our direction and saw Dash on the floor unconcious.
"Danny punched Dash!! he just stood up and punched him" Kwan said. Mr. Lancer was shocked that Danny punched Dash and knocked him out.
"Mr. Fenton detention later!!" Mr. Lancer said slightly angry since he himself couldn't believe it from happening but someone saw it so he can't exactly just sweep it under the rug.
"Excuse me Mr. Lancer but I have proof that Dash started it" Tucker said then showed Mr. Lancer that video and looked at Danny.
"Great Gatsby! I am so sorry Mr. Fenton for accusing you, you only protected your cousin from Dash, I take it back Dash is going to be the one on detention" Mr. Lancer said while Danny looked at Mr. Lancer with utter shock
'He took my side he actually took my side' Danny thought inside his head while Mr. Lancer had a celebration happening in his mind.
'Finally!!! That bully can now be punished, thanks to Mr. Foley! But I do wonder why Mr. Foley couldn't have done that much earlier?' Mr. Lancer thought.
