ochako was seen walking to school early in the morning, her hands gripping firmly on the straps of her bag as she hummed merrily

she was now a few meters away from the school gates when she had heard people whispering and pointing at her

though she ignored it, after all, almost all of her classmates had experienced it, they were shown on international television

she was about to enter u.a. when a middle aged woman in a bob cut, passed by her and started to talk with the person close to her

"isn't that the girl who won second place? she looks so small and weak, i bet the other contestants went easy on her"

"yeah, i know right, there's no way she could've beat all of those people, especially with her quirk"

ochako paused for a bit, inhaling deeply, before continuing her walk to class 1-a's classroom

she smiled at the people who greeted and congratulated her and offered her thanks

as she entered the classroom, she was met with hagakure talking with tsu and mina about the people who talked to them on the way here

almost all of them had been congratulated and questioned, they were really extatic

the chatter died down when their teacher, aizawa, entered the room in his signature yellow sleeping bag

he walked, or rather crawled, towards his desk and unzipped his sleeping bag, showing his arm that was holding a thick stack of papers

"today we will be talking about your internships, a bunch of heroes had sent in requests to take you in, on the board are all the requests you got"

aizawa said in his usual monotone voice, before pressing a button that opened a screen on the board which showed the number of recommendations each student got

the first one was todoroki with 3697 requests, followed by bakugo 2340, uraraka, with 1324 and the rest of the class with 900 or less

"normally the requests are more equally spread, but this year the main focus was on the top three"

aizawa explained, though the students didn't care, they were just glad they had requests in the first place

"you have until friday to choose where you will be interning, the internships will start on saturday and will last a week"

he said as he started handing out requests to the students, the room started to fill with chatter as the students talked about where they wanted to go

ochako looked at iida who had a troubling look on his face while looking at the requests

his brother had been attacked by a vigilante named stain, the supposed hero killer was going on a killing spree as he attaked pros here and there
