ochako skipped happily towards the cafe, hoping to see izuku there to inform him of her exam results

as soon as she entered the cafe, her eyes started to scan every table, landing onto izuku who was waving at her with a big smile on his face

ochako sat down in front of him, her favorite food already set on the table

"so... how was it?"

izuku asked, he knew uraraka did well, but he wanted to hear it come out of her own

the said girl looked up at him, excitement radiating around her as her eyes practically shined of happiness

"it went really well! the written exam was easy! and the practical exams was just as we thought! they paired us up with one of our classmates and made us fight the teachers! it was so cool!"

ochalo rambled, not caring about the other people at the cafe as she enthusiastically explained the details of the exam to izuku

though she left a small detail out, she thought it was for the best that izuku didn't know about her little talk with aoyama

Flashback
During the Practical Exams

it was ochako's and aoyama's turn, and they were up against the pro hero thirteen

ochako was nervous, knowing how well they were at hero work, even with restrains the teachers were still able to defeat some of her classmates

a few minutes later, there she was dangling onto a metal railing for her dear life along with aoyama

she scanned her eyes around the area, trying to think of some sort of escape from the situation they were in

aoyama spoke beside her, making her turn her head

"you know mon ami, i can tell you like someone"

he spluttered out, making ochako look at him in confusion

"huh?"

"you like someone, right?"

"I..."

ochako didn't know why, but for a split second her mind went blank, and her face began to grow redder as a certain green head appeared in her thoughts

her heartbeat quickened and she swore steam flew out of her ears of how how her face had become

she lost her composure and waved frantically at aoyama that it wasn't what he thought

forgetting about the fact that she was holding onto the railing, and that she was in a battle with thirteen

seeing that ochako was coming their way thirteen quickly deactivated her quirk, afraid of hurting one of the students

ochako took it to her advantage and quickly tackled thirteen to the ground and slipping handcuffs on them

a sigh of relief escaped her mouth as a voice announced their victory

ochako refused to speak about her new found feelings, she knew that it would only affect her hero training, her almost failed exam as an example of that

it didn't help that there was a faint voice in her head that kept whispering how izuku just saw her as a friend and that there was no chance for them whatsoever

she shook those thoughts out of her head and decided to just focus on the present

"oh! i forgot to tell you! me and the class are going to the mall this saturday to buy some stuff we need for the training camp!"

ochako beamed, she was happy that all of them were allowed to come even though some of the people in her class failed

such as mina and denki, the poor students having to face nedzu of all people during the practical exams

their highly intelligent principal whipping out a wrecking ball out of nowhere and using it to destroy buildings that caused a domino effect

"oh yeah, you told me about that, are you excited?"

"of course i am! were gonna train the whole break to improve our selves! who wouldn't be?"

izuku chuckled at the over active person in front of him that kept rambling about how the exams went

he threw a few comments here and there, but most of the conversation was held with him staring at ochako with a hint of fondness in his eyes

'cute...'
