Emma's POV

Jack filled me in then he and Walt went up to bed and I went to make some popcorn.

When I got back, Elsa was already awake and staring at me with terror in her eyes.

"W-who are you? Where am I?"

"My name is Emma. And you're safe."

"S-safe? Do you work for Pitch?"

"I don't even know who that is."

She seemed to calm down. "How old are you, Emma?"

"14."

"Do you know who Jack Frost is?"

I chuckled. "I would think so, considering he's my brother."

She seemed confused. "He never told me he had a sister."

"Well, didn't you know him for like, a week?"

"Yeah, how'd you know that?"

"It's all he ever talked about. Whenever he wasn't looking for you."

"He... saved me?"

"Yeah. Don't you remember?"

She shook her head. "It's all kind of fuzzy."

"Do you remember what Pitch did to you?"

She looked like she remembered something then broke down crying.

"M-my children."

"Children? Oh God... Did he..?"

She nodded. "Twins. Storm and Crystal. Two years old."

I looked at the clock. 4:30 AM. "I think that's enough for one night. Get some sleep. I'll stay here on the floor."

She nodded. I flicked off the TV and we both drifted off to sleep.

{}[]NEXT MORNING[]{}

Jack's POV

I woke up. It felt weird. I guess anything would feel weird if you hadn't done it in three years.

I walked downstairs and Elsa was sleeping soundly on the couch. And Emma was sleeping on the floor.

I walked into the kitchen and started cooking breakfast. That's right. I can cook.

I mixed the batter for some pancakes and put some bacon in the frying pan. Once I poured the batter into the pan, I scattered some chocolate chips on top because, why not?

I heard someone moving in the living room and suspected it was Emma. It wasn't. It was Elsa.

When Elsa walked in the door, she stared at me with a look of utter fear.

I just turned back towards the stove and flipped a pancake.

"Morning Elsa."

"What's that smell?"

"Breakfast."

"It smells like-"

"Chocolate." I finished.

"Yeah... How'd you know?"

"Well, I'm staring right at chocolate chip pancakes so... lucky guess."

I heard her chuckle and I smiled.

"Hungry?" I asked.

"Famished."

"Dis he even feed you? You look so thin."
