Chapter 5

Rachel's P.O.V

I felt my phone vibrate about 10 seconds after i gave him my answer. Jesse replied faster then usual.

Jesse- Oh yeah, I understand. I guess you should sleep now to think about it.

Me- Yeah, it was too soon but let me sleep on it, I'll give you you're answer tomorrow. Goodnight Jesse☺

Jesse- Goodnight gorgeous

I turned off my phone & put it aside. I changed in my pajamas & said goodnight to my dads. I couldn't sleep. I just don't know what to say. If I say yes, it'll be too soon but it'll make him happy. If I say no, I would lie that I actually like him & I really wouldn't be happy. I mean, it'll be good if we get together, we'll be in different schools so we won't always be together. I really want to be happy & I've never had a boyfriend. This can change my life, in a good way. It's official. Jesse, you're about to get a girlfriend.

I woke up the next morning. I didn't go to school because I didn't want to go to Carmel & I'm waiting to see if I got in McKinley. I texted Jesse to come over today after school because I need to tell him my answer. My dads went to work & I stayed home alone. I texted Kurt & waited for him to reply. I felt my phone vibrate & picked up my phone quickly hoping it was Kurt. It was Jesse. He told me he couldn't come over today because he has practice for VA. I didn't reply, I let him get back to his studies. I then got a call from Kurt's phone. I picked up & answered.

Me- Oh my god Kurt! I miss you so much!! But why did you call me? Aren't you supposed to be in class?

Voice- Oh sorry, Kurt left his phone here at home. This is Finn, his stepbrother.

Me- Oh gosh I didn't know he left it home. My bad & can you please tell him to text me back when he gets home? & I like your name Finn. It's nice & unique. I'm Rachel.

Finn- Yeah ill tell him & yeah I know who you are. Kurt can't stop talking about you of how much he misses you & wants to see you.

Me- Really? Awe, I miss him a lot too! I'm sorry I couldn't make it to your moms & Kurt's dad wedding! I really wanted to go but I was at Italy.

Finn- It's fine. I'm curious to meet you, you know, since you're my brother's best friend.

Me- Yeah, I wanted to go over yesterday but my dads didn't let me go, maybe next time?

Finn- Yeah! Well Kurt's going to get home soon & he doesn't like it when I use his things so I'm going to hang up but if you want, we can keep talking with my phone?

Me- Um, yeah sure I would like too.

Finn- Awesome, I'll just text you from my phone, I'll get your number from his phone.

Me- Okay, I'll be waiting. Bye Finn.

Finn- Bye Rachel
