YOONGI POV -:
After about an hour of working and handling the cafe with about a dozen of people it's finally break time!
The time I've been waiting for.
"Shit why am I nervous?" I ask myself as I start thinking about how to ask yuna to be my "friend."
Ok let's keep this simple. I'll just casually ask her about stuff here and there and then boom I'll drop the friend request.
"It's not that easy min yoongi" I say to myself letting out a sigh.
I guess I just have to go with the flow..?
After about 10 minutes of wasting my time I decide to go and ask yuna.
I see her sitting alone on the sofa and eating a sandwich while scrolling through her phone, this is the right moment let's get it yoongi!
I slowly go to her and sit next to her.
"Umm hey.." I say.
"What is it ?" She says with a annoyed face.
"Uh nothing just saw you sitting alone so came here to umm eat with you..?" I say awkwardly.
"Aww so you were feeling alone without me huh?" She smirks.
"Yah no when did I say that!"
"Well it looks like that, you've been talking to yourself from the past 10 minutes.. don't you think that's way too noticeable and creepy?"
Shit I think she knows what I was talking about.
"Hello? Yoongi? Did you zone out into your zombie world or something?" She snaps at me to get me out of my imagination.
"Excuse me! I'm very much attentive okay?" I say to her.
I sit there quietly not knowing what to say next. Well my mouth had nothing much to say but my stomach did! It made a really inhuman noise which left me still in embarrassment.
"Whoa are you not gonna feed your old stomach? It's grumpy"
"You sure do have a very dry sense of humour girl" I say to her to which she rolls her eyes at me.
"Here take this, I'm not hungry anyways and plus you also gotta do the extra work after this" she says while handing her sandwich.
"I - I am okay thank you for your concern" I say
"Well grandpa I don't want your old engine to shut down in the middle of work so better fuel up !!" She throws her dry jokes on me yet again.
"Ok ok just because you are requesting me I'll have it but I'm telling ya I'm totally fine !!" I say and take a big bite of the sandwich.
"Ya you sure are fine huh" she says while laughing hard on me.
"I genuinely feel bad for your friends and family who have to go through this really dry humour of yours!" I joke and see that it didn't fit well With her.
"Umm it's okay no one really has to feel bad anyways... I don't really have the friends to share these jokes with." She says while chuckling softly but her eyes turned sad.
"Uh I'm sorry I didn't mean it.." I say
"It's not your fault anyways, maybe it's me, no one really likes being around a trash can haha.." She says while laughing but I didn't react to that, I just wanted to know why she turned sad when I joked about her family and friends.
"The truth is that I really don't have any friends you know .. I just newly became friends with your younger donsaengs taehyung, jungkook and jimin.. besides that I don't think I can call anyone else my friend." She says while looking down with sadness filled in her voice.
"How did you forget me? Am I not considered as your friend?" I ask her.
"Umm I just thought we were coworkers.. besides that I'm not cool enough to be your friend yoongi, you're rich and have really awesome friends... I don't think I can fit in..." She says which made me a bit disappointed.
"Really? All this time you just thought that we were coworkers and not friends?" I ask her.
"Maybe yes.. I thought you felt the same.." she says
"Of course not! I always thought that we were friends. Besides that I was also gonna ask you to come visit my hyungs house for some time so that we could know each other more!" I suddenly slip out.
This wasn't planned but I have to do this to make her a bit happy.
"Really?Umm thanks yoongi.."
"Now answer me... can we be friends now at least ?" I ask her while offering her my hand for a handshake.
"Uh yeah of course!" She says with a smile
"So when am I meeting your hyung?" She suddenly asks me, which I wasn't expecting her to.
"Oh um I thought you won't really be interested in coming but it's ok if you're busy or something.."
I make up things so that she can say a no, as I would have to convince Jin hyung for all this and in the process I would be teased Tons !!
"Of course I would love to come visit, when am I invited?" She goes on questioning me and I sit there clueless.
"So how about tomorrow after work? Is that cool?" I ask her.
"Perfect!! I'll be there for sure!!" She says with excitement.
"Ok then see you tomorrow." I say to her and get up.
"Yah! Where are you off to? We still have work to do! It's just 3:30 go get to work" she orders me.
"Oh ya of course salty pants!!" I say and head to the kitchen.
Well I guess I gotta come up with a new plan to convince Jin hyung..
