Y/n's PoV
I woke up to bird chirping and the sun rising. I was laying in bed with my boyfriend Tom. My head was throbbing and my throat was killing. I ran downstairs and grabbed a glass of water. I sat on the sofa for a bit watching tv until I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. "Y/n" I hear Tom whisper in a groggy voice. "there you are I wonder where you were since oh my god y/n are you ok?" He questioned. I nodded "I'm fine I just need a drink" I say lies rolling off my tongue. I never liked Tom looking after me. I don't know why I just feel like I'm being annoying and useless. "Darling you aren't you are pale as anything" he admitted. "Tom don't worry I'm fine" I say taking to ibuprofen and Laying down. "Y/n come on get back to bed you look dreadful love" he said stroking my leg. I shook my head. "Fine if your gonna be like that" he said picking me up. "Nooooo Tom" I squealed. "You need to go back to bed" he exclaimed. I just giggled.

When we reached the bedroom he placed me on the bed. "Now stay love and I'll go and make you food" he said point his finger at me. "But I don't want to Tom I'm fine" I say climbing out the bed. He pushes me back on the bed. "Y/n stay your not well and you know it now stop being stubborn" he said leaving the room. I just roll my eyes and groan. I pick up my phone and post an Instagram story. 'Tom won't let me leave my room'. 

Just a little bit later Tom comes back in with f/f. "here love" he says handing me the food. "Thank you but I've told you I'm fine" I saying sniffling. "yeah like I'm going to believe that hun." Tom replies chuckling. I roll my eyes and start eating. I finish eating it and lay down. Tom takes my plate/bowl and takes in downstairs. I can feel my eyes start to shut until our door opens. "oh sorry love, I didn't know you were going to sleep" he says. "it's fine i'm just slightly tried" I say sitting up. "no love stay lay down" he says coming over to the bed and getting in. He wraps his arm around me and I lay my head on his chest. he places the back of his hand on my forehead. "you're still burning up." he starts, "are you going to admit your sick yet?" "I'm not sick Tom" I say and sneeze. He laughs. "That was a one off" I say and sneeze again "and that one" I say looking into his eyes. "Whatever you say love" he says stroking my hair. He kisses my forehead. 

"Go to sleep love" he says softly still stroking my hair. I start drawing circles on his chest. I can hair his soft heart beat in my right ear. I can hear him whispering comforting words kisses my forehead at the end of all of them. Hearing soft humming from he top of my head I look up and Tom looks down at me and smiles. "get some rest love" he said and starts humming again. I finally gave in and snuggled into his chest. Soft hums fills my ears and I slowly drift off into darkness. 

After a little bit I woke up to the soft snores of my boyfriend. This brought a smile to my face and I started to drawn shapes on his chest. The soft snoring stop and his eyes fluttered open. "Hello love how did you sleep" Tom asks smiling cutely. "alright what about you?" I ask giggling. "Alright" he replies. I sneeze again and groan. "Tom" I say and he hummed to show he was listening. "I think I'm sick" I say sheepishly. He chuckled softly "so you are finally admitting it." i nod and snuggle into his chest. He pulls me on top of him and snuggle into the crook of his neck and drift back off to sleep while he kisses my head, stroking my back.
