Y/ns POV

I was sitting under an oak tree by the black lake reading my favourite book. A boredom washed over me like a wave I decided to head to the Gryffindor common room to see if James was there. A slight drizzle started and float down from the sky. My legs started to walk a little faster and I put the hood of my cloak over my head. I reached the castle and as I walked inside a shiver ran down my spine. Cold and camp, I trudge up towards Gryffindor tower. On my way I encountered up with the greasy long hair Slytherin, Lucius. "Well y/n how nice it is to see you here" He sneered. I roll my eyes and replied " you too." "Now I'll be on my way" I say trying to get past him. "How did you manage to get a boyfriend. I mean look at you" he says smirking. "Don't come at me Malfoy I mean look at your hair when was the last time you showered. " I reply smiling sarcastically. "How dare you speak to your superior like that" he spat at me as I walk away. "Suck my dick" I say sticking my middle finger up at him.

I reached the Gryffindor common room and I told the fat lady the password. I walked and to see the marauders sitting around the fire. James looks and me and gives me a smile. He opened up his arms inviting me for a cuddle. I walk over and snuggle into his chest with a sigh. "What's up buttercup?" He asked. "Just bored and I walked into Malfoy on the way here" I replied. "Wait wait let me guess what you said" Sirius says who was laid on his back by the fire. "Go on then" I say giggling.  "So you stumbled upon him in the corridors and he goes 'well well well' and you go 'fuck off' and he goes 'I'm superior' and you say 'suck my dick' and walk off" he says changing his pitch for malfoy and me. "No quite" I mumble. "You did say 'suck my dick' though didn't you" Remus says and I nod.  "What else did he say munchkin" James cooed in my ear. " He said he wondered why I had a boyfriend because I look 'awful'" I whispered. "That's a lie loved you are gorgeous" he mumbled pulling me closer into his chest. "Aww isn't that sweet" Sirius exclaimed and I let out a muffled giggle and started to drift off in James arms.

James POV
I started to hear soft snores from below me. I looked down to see the h/c girl snuggled into me. A smile plastered on my face. I stroked her hair softly and tighten my grip slightly on her. "Ooo someone's in love" (if yk,yk) Remus snickered from the chair opposite. My head shot up and looked at Remus "what?" I questioned. "It's bloody obvious prongs. You can see it in your eyes when you look at her mate." He explained and I looked down shaking my head. I could feel my face heat up. "AWW JAMEY WAMSEY IS IN LOVE" Sirius yells rolling around on the floor. Y/n stirred in my arms so I stared to draw small squiggles on her back and she settled back down. "Padfoot wha the hell mate she asleep" I whisper-yelled. Smirks rose on their faces. "Alright alright I'm in loves merlin" I said. They burst into giggles. I roll my eyes and pick up y/n and brought her to my bed.

I placed her on my bed and climbed in with her. She rolled over and snuggled my chest. I placed a kiss on her forehead and whispered "I love you my buttercup" and I drifted off into darkness.
