Y/ns POV
"Y/n look at me" Tom said sternly. I turned around slowly. "I love you, you need to understand what I'm saying" he says keeping eye contact with me. My breathing started to become heavy. "We can rule the world. We can be feared. We can be powerful.Together" Tom exclaims grabbing my hand pulling my slightly closer to him. "But Tom. I don't want that. I want to live the best life. To have a good job and have a family and be happy. I don't want to be feared and kill people." I say as tears threatened my eyes. Tom sighed. "Come one love. I love you and don't want to be without you. Join me. We can be happy." He says softly to try and convince me. I looked down and took my hand from Toms grip. "Will we though?" I questioned. "Will we what darling?" he asked. "Will we be happy? I don't think I would be very happy if I kill someone Tom" I say raising my voice, still not lifting me head up again.

"Y/n don't started to shout at me. We don't want to wake up the entire Slytherin house." Tom says sternly. He places a finger under my chin and lifts up my head. I made sure my eyes weren't looking at him. "Y/n look at me." Tom says crouching. I shook my head salty tears started to stream down my face. "Y/n look at me" he said more angry than before. My jaw dropped and I looked at him with fear in my eyes. "I'm doing this with or without you. I want you stood by my side because I love you and we will make the greatest team" He continued. I gulped and shook my head. "Tom. I love you too it I can't do this. I don't want to live my life like that. I can't be a murder. That's not me" I state and start to walk to my dorm. "What kinda of Slytherin are you?No wonder your a disappointment to you family" he muttered. I stood there for a minute shocked from what I have just heard. I run the the stairs and climb into bed. A sob left my lips. I can't remember much after that but I drifted off into darkness.

The next day

I walked into the common room to see Tom sat on the couch, slouched over staring into the fire. I didn't speak but tried to walk past without him see me. I reached the stairs. "Y/n." I heard a voice and I closed my eyes and sighed. I turned around to see Tom stood there by the couch looking at me. "What do you want" I say rudely. "Don't speak to me like that love. We don't want any trouble now. Do we?" He asked walking up to me. I shook my head not looking at him. "Now tell me what's up princess." He said. I looked up at him with eyes filled with a salty lake. "I thought you were different" I whispered. "What are you on about love?" He questioned. "Your right though. I don't belong in Slytherin." I mumbled. Tom stood there guilty for a minuted and grabbed my hand and tilted my head up so I would look at him. " Y/n, darling, I don't think that it was just the heat of the moment." He states stroking my cheek with one finger. "I love you and I don't want to lose you. So please join me." He continued and kisses me. I kissed back reluctantly. "I love you too" I whisper hugging him. "Please join me." He pleaded. "I'll think about." I say nuzzling my nose into the crook of his neck.
