「We look up the same stars but we see different things」
"I―I've always loved you! That is why confessing to you likes this suddenly is kind 'a lame..." He scratched the back of his neck with a smile that his whole face covered in blush as he finally admitted his feelings to the girl he likes all this time. It was clear to the girl's face that she was shocked, finally realizing what is happening. She smiled as she covered her face with her cotton-gloved hands.
"...but I wanted to tell you how really important you are to me, that's why―!"
"I feel the same way too." She cut him with a lovely smile painted in her lips. And they both stood there. Face so red, maybe because of the cold wind or maybe because of what was happening now.
They both smiled and laughed at each other. Finally! After many years, months, weeks and days of attempting to confess at each other's feelings. Kaito finally made his first move to say it. Their feelings are mutual, obviously to the people around them but when it comes to the two. They're good at hiding. Luka, who is shy, did try her best to confess but her shyness always gets better at her that's why it's always failed. The guy she loves made its first move. She silently thanked the heavens, the angels, and the cupid's arrow for not missing it.
And the first snow of December falls as if the blessing of their feelings finally reached each other.
Forgetting the only witness of the exchange love confession, Miku Hatsune stood there behind her best friend as she saw the whole event. She was the very first person who discovered that that their feelings are mutual. Forgetting all about her, standing behind them, she witnessed how her best friend is officially taken to the guy whom she also falls too.
Her heart held so many silent strings of pain. It hurt inside but she didn't show it. Instead, she cleared her throat to inform them that she was still with them and gave her very best smile at the newly lover before her.
"Fiiiiiiiiiinaly~!" She breathed in mentally after saying the word. "It took you too long guys when it's really obvious." She laughed at them when their faces seem to blush more.
"Hush! Miku, you know that I did try my best to confess it but..." Her friend Luka shyly said but didn't finish what she wants to say as she hides her face with her cotton-gloved hands.
"Yeah, you never know how much courage I plant just to tell her how I feel." Kaito blushes more as he tries to avoid Miku's teasing eyes at him.
"Right, when I heard you practicing your lines in front of the window. Really. Lame." And she laughed at him.
"Really?" Luka asks as she gazed at her boyfriend.
"Of course not! Why would you believe it?" And she looked back to Miku who is laughing at them.
"Hahaha... So, you guys are now an item. I'll spread the news to everyone!" she picks her phone in her bag to open the camera.
Instead of picturing them together, she took a selfie with her holding the camera with a peace sign and behind her is the new lover who is still not over with their red faces.
"That's enough evidence to show it on the whole campus tomorrow. Bye!" And she ran away before the two could stop her.
Running as fast as she can, trying to rid of the painful feelings. She runs fast, didn't bother entering the dense forest, all she want is to get away from there, to get away from them, to get away from everyone and everything.
She stopped in front of a river, gasping for air. Somehow, she managed not to let her tears fall. She crouched down, hugging her knees burying her head in her crossed arms. Letting all the tears go down from her eyes with a silent cry. She didn't expect it. It was too sudden that he would confess like that. She knows that he would arrange everything like preparing a perfect location with petals in the ground, bubbles in the air, sweet music in the background but he just suddenly appeared behind them and burst out all his feelings into words. An unexpected confession out of blue, that both of them didn't imagine it that is too fast.
