Chapter 02: Blue Star

「I'll stop loving you when all the stars in this universe burnout.」

When the morning comes, she feels refreshed. It feels like a brand new day waits for her. Unlocking her phone to check some texts and calls, she saw Luka's new text.

Are you ready for your report later? Good luck! Kai and I were planning to celebrate your performance results whether it fails or passes.

Kai. Now she made him a nickname.

She stood up from her bed, preparing to go for her class. Feels like her stomach is twisting in some way she didn't like, she could skip her first class today but she can't or she'll fail.

Leaving no choice, she started her new day.

This is going be the start of a new day to start faking everyone, a new day to hurt her more, seeing them going together, seeing them waved their hands at her and greeted her 'good morning'. Somehow she started to become an actress.

Her report ended too well with a difficult question from her professor. When lunch came, Kaito and Luka treated her some foods for the successfulness of her report. She declined it kindly but still didn't win. This was something to be celebrated, they thought.

Days go on like that in college; she's happy for them and sad for herself. She didn't deserve something like this. The water of the flower every morning keeps on turning in soft ice. She wondered is it because of the winter, or did they absorbed her sad feelings every night?

"You know, you don't have to do this. Even if you make me feel better every morning but when the day ends I still ended up being sad." She held the vase, smelling the familiar scent of the flowers in her nose. "I still love him but I don't know how to give up. There's a little part of me not to give up and the other big part wants to give up. I'm confused. Is there anything I can do to forget him?"

The evening wind of winter blows colder than yesterday, and her heart starts to crack from the love that will never put in words. She put down the vase to the usual place and she lies down to her bed, hugging a pillow closed to her chest, asking for warmth. But the flowers will never let her drown of her sadness. The way he smiles at her like he just won a daily lottery, his eyes were twinkling. The joy that overwhelms around them, the mood, it's like in the movies. But she will never be her. The girl he sees in his eyes.

"Miku! Let's go?" Luka said glancing at her best friend with a worried face.

"To where?"

"Overnight at my dorm to study for the next week's exam?" She reminds her.

"Oh." That's what all she said.

"You forget it." Luka pouted. "But you already let your mother know about it?"

"She doesn't mind, as long as if it's in your dorm but I forgot about the overnight plan." She admitted.

"Okay, later! I'm going to meet up with Kai to let him know that you'll come." As Luka picked her phone from her coat's pocket.

"He will come too?" Her mind is hoping that he won't, please no. Miku pleaded silently.

"Yep! He will be our tutor." She smiled at her without knowing her friend's silent prayer.

"Why invite me too when he can tutor you all night?" And Luka's face filled with embarrassment at Miku's innocent question probably malicious question.

"Wーwhat are you talking about?! You know that I can'tー"

"What?" She cut her with her trademark teasing smile.
