"Forever yours"
*****
Devlin and Sharleen stood silently near Kevin's grave. It had been a long time since they both visited. Ever since Devlin was shot, none of them got the time to come over. But they were here now, and they both felt content, at ease.
Devlin looked towards Sharleen who looked breathtakingly beautiful in the cute white dress that she wore. The bump now clearly visible and Sharleen was rubbing it slowly in circular motion with one hand, whether knowingly or unknowingly.
Sharleen looked at her husband who's eyes were fixed on her bump. She felt a smile forming on her lips as she looked at the sinfully handsome male that fate had brought her way. God he was hot!
Sharleen reached out and took Devlin's hand in hers. Her smooth delicate hand felt nice in his big and rough one. He squeezed her hand making her squeeze back with much affection.
"Hello Kevin. It's been long since we visited. Don't worry, we did not forget you. As a matter of fact, there were some villains in our story that were daring to harm us. But you have a very brave friend you know. Devlin here became our knight and thanks to him i am safe and thanks to him your baby is safe." Sharleen spoke with thick raw emotions.
"Hello brother. I hope whenever you are you are able to hear us. We cannot do this without you. We need your blessings so that we can be a happy family, so that our kid can grow up in the best environment." Devlin said, slowly touching Sharleen's belly.
"We really miss you Kevin. But we will treasure the blessing that you left behind. And he or she will know how kind and good hearted their father was. That is a promise." Sharleen said, her eyes glassy with unshed tears.
"You will always be part of us Kevin. We love you. Always will." Devlin finished with tears of his own streaming down his cheeks.
Devlin and Sharleen hugged each other tightly. They cried on each other's shoulders. Comforted each other even though they knew there was a hole that was left that would never be filled.
Kevin.
But with the love they had for each other, all would be okay in the end. They were sure of it. They were sure of their love.

Up above the sky, very far from where the normal eyes could see, Kevin watched as the two most important people in his life stood near his grave.
Actually he had been watching them daily as fate tested them now and again. He was happy and proud to see them standing together and fighting all their obstacles as one.
The only thing that pained Kevin was watching Sharleen and Devlin fight the bond for that long. It was very clear that they were attracted to each other and he was not happy that they did not act upon it.
Strangely enough, Kevin did not feel any anger or jealousy when he realised the attraction between Devlin and Sharleen. Instead he felt a sense of satisfaction that Sharleen would be happy again and his baby would have the most loving parents in the world and Devlin would be happy too.
Looking at how Sharleen looked peaceful and comfortable in Devlin's arms, Kevin could not help it but ask a question to God, whose presence was everywhere in heaven even when He was not around.
"Sharleen was not meant to be mine, wasn't she?"
"No she was not." God's presence answered him truthfully.
"Will they be happy?" Kevin asked again, looking down at the two hugging souls.
"No man can make Sharleen happy than Devlin and no woman make Devlin happy than Sharleen. They were made for each other."
Kevin smiled satisfied. That is what he wanted to hear.
They had his blessings.
