Y/N's POV
"You're no good! You don't deserve anything! You're the reason that my husband is dead!" Punch!
"J-Jen, I-I'm s-sorry."
Crack! "Are you? Because I know you're not. Well that's enough for tonight. Go to bed!"
I attempted to get up from the hardwood floor and fell. Jen started laughing. "You're so weak. You should just be dead already." I tried again and got up, using the wall as support to get back into my room.
"Ahhh!" I screamed. I looked around only to see my room. My palms were sweaty as could be. Tears running down my face. Nightmare. So much fun. Totally. Wait. I screamed, and Jen didn't come scream at me. She must not be here. That's not a bad way to start off my morning, well at least the 'her not being here' part. I wiped the tears from my face and got up.
It was a Monday morning. It's been pretty normal for this past week. It really just consisted of me going to school, going to the internship, and coming home to either no Jen or a drunk as hell Jen. On Friday we got to present our physics project. We were finding out our grades for those today. I think I did okay. Well I hope I did at least.
I got up from my bed and snuck around the apartment for a minute. Who knows, Jen could just be here and sleeping or something. I didn't see her anywhere. Although she could be in her bedroom but I am forbidden of going in there so I can't check in there. I stopped sneaking around and went back to my room. I started to get ready for school. My "wounds" I guess you can call them, are getting better. At least from what happened last weekend. It still hurt to walk a little bit but I wasn't limping anymore. Throughout the week Flash was still being an asshole but I try to ignore it.
I got all of my stuff together and took my phone off of the charger. I looked at the time. "Shit!" It's already 7:30! I bolt out of my room and to the front door.
"Where do you think you're going?" Jen questions.
"Uh, I have an important meeting to attend." I joke.
"You have no meeting, get your ass back here right now."
"Sorry, no can do!" I said as I stepped out of the apartment and slammed the door. She will not be happy about that. Although I thought it was actually very funny. I darted out of the building and onto the street. As I was running I felt like I was getting wet. Only then did I notice that it was raining. No, actually it was pouring. Just great. It was already 7:45 and there was no way that I was getting to school on time. At this point I didn't even care so I stopped running. I started just walking.
Eventually half an hour later I got to school. I wasn't actually that soaked because there's a lot of places on the streets that are covered. There was only about 20 minutes left of chemistry but if I don't go then Jen is going to get a call, and that, cannot happen. I shoved my stuff in my locker and got into class. Mrs. Anderson did not seem happy with me coming in half an hour late.
"Ms. Y/L/N, nice of you to finally join us on this spectacular morning." I swear she hates me.
"Oh it is indeed spectacular."
"Mind telling us why you are so late?" That's when I went off.
"Oh I don't know, I think I just didn't want to come to a class with a pinhead of a teacher. Also probably because I didn't want to have to deal with that teacher." Everyone started laughing. It was indeed hilarious. But Mrs. Pinhead herself didn't think so.
"Out! Get out of my class! Right now!"
I didn't listen. "What's wrong? Like actually, what did I do?" Playing dumb is so fun.
