Chapter 5
"Let's do this!"
We walked into the school going our separate ways.
Jackson and I have most of the same classes. So we walked to homeroom together.
We sat down in our seats.
I started to zone out when the announcements came on talking about upcoming events that no one cares about.
The plan takes place during lunch.
I'm so freaking nervous.
My hearts still racing from earlier.
What if they still don't accept me.
And why the heck do I care!!
'Come on, hoe, chill out!' Jenna says.
'Stop calling me that, slut!'
We burst out laughing a few seconds later. Earning me many confused glances.
"What's so funny?" Jackson asked smiling happily.
"Jenna"
"Ah" he said understanding completely.
Now that that's over, I can go back to my mental break down.
'NO!!' Jenna shouts.
'WHAT?!' I asked a little freaked out by her outburst.
'I DO NOT want to listen to anymore of your worrying! Everything is going to work out! The way it's supposed to!' she said softly.
'Okay'
"Poke"
"Poke"
"Poookke!"
What is that?!
I come out of thoughts to see and feel Jackson poking my cheek.
"What are you doing?" I smile while asking.
"The bell rang. Like two minutes ago." he says chuckling.
"What?!" I shriek.
"Yeah, you spaced out." he says with a grin.
I jump up, racing out of the room.
And running straight into my mate.
"Watch where you're going, ugly!" he said in a disgusted tone.
Ouch! I couldn't find words to say.
Luckily, Jackson stepped in.
"Why don't you not stand in the middle of the door way and F*ck off" Jackson said, eyes darkening.
"Calm down" I put my hand on Jackson's arm, "He's not worth it!" I hope that makes Caiden angry. I want to get his attention. Right?
At least I think I do.
For some reason, the idea of getting his attention kind of feels wrong. I don't understand why. He's my mate shouldn't getting his attention feel right.
Right now I'm having trouble thinking about anything but Jackson's buff arm beneath my hand.
"I'm worth more than you, fat ass!" he said smirking. His comment causes people to laugh.
Wow that hurt.
My butts not fat, right?
"Absolutely not!" Jackson says while glaring at Caiden.
