After a rather interesting night, Arthur woke up in the early morning to his lover cuddling him in his sleep.
He carefully removed John and got up, sneaking around, grabbing his clothes that were scattered around the room.
He got dressed quickly and just as he was about to leave, John woke up.

"Really? Not even a kiss?" John mumbled from the bed.
"I'll be back." Arthur reassured him.
"You better." John muttered, before going back to sleep.

Arthur had planned to stay in Valentine for a day or two until the day of the heist Dutch promised, so he set out to the post office to send a letter to a friend from camp to let him know. He also figured he needed another brain to pick about his plans with John and Abigail.

Meet me in the Valentine hotel tomorrow morning.
Room 202. Make sure you're alone.
It's important.
- Arthur

Arthur glanced at the letter before handing it over to the desk clerk.
"And to whom do I address this to?" The postman asked.
"Javier Escuella, Horseshoe Outlook. Need this delivered today."
"Sure. That'll be 2 bucks."

Arthur left the post office and headed back to the hotel, stopping by the saloon on the way to get some provisions.
He went back to the hotel room with some bread and jam for him and John. He even got them a freshly brewed coffee flask.

John chuckled as he watched Arthur enter the room with the stuff.
"What?" Arthur asked.
"Nuthin'.." he replied, chuckling again.
"Come on. What?"
"Arthur, I think you're limping." John said, barely finishing the sentence from laughter.
Arthur looked down at his legs shyly, only to see they were weirdly positioned.
"Well.. I gotta be honest, Johnny. Didn't think you had it in ya." Arthur sighed and chuckled.
"Of course I have it in me! I have a kid." John raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, alright. You can fuck. Come on, put some clothes on and come eat your breakfast." Arthur admitted shyly, trying to change the subject.
John got up from bed and stood proudly naked, grabbing a cup of coffee. He felt like he was on top of the world.
"Or don't." Arthur eyed his body from top to bottom.
He got up and took the cup from John's hand and sat it aside, planting a kiss on his lips.

"Good morning." John said, smiling.
"Good morning, stanky breath." Arthur replied back, and gave him another peck on the lips.
"So.. don't you have to go back to camp?" John said as walked off and started putting on his pants.
"Nope. I'm supposed to be out fetching some stuff for Dutch."
"What stuff?" John asked, now with his interest peaked.
Arthur sat down, "Weapons. Dutch is planning this big heist in Saint Denis. He said it will be the last job for the gang to have enough to be able to leave the country." He said, looking at the ground.
"We both know Dutch. He'll never have enough. He's been promising us of Haiti for years."
"That's not it. I don't want to do this, John. I don't want to kill and rob anymore."
John sat down next to Arthur and placed his hand on his thigh.
"I know. I don't want to see you get hurt either. I wish I could come with and help you."
"No, I don't want you to be in danger again."
"Arthur, I would talk you out of this, but we do need this money."
"I know. That's the only reason I'm doing it. You, me, Abigail, and Jack. We need a clean new slate somewhere far away."
"Think you can get enough money to pay off our bounty in Blackwater?"
"I reckon I'll have quadruple that amount, provided the job goes well."
John's eyes widen in excitement.
"We can buy a ranch. With a stable. And we can plant its land with tobacco and fruits."
Arthur chuckled.
"And raise some pigs. And even some chickens!" John continued.
"Alright, slow down, cowboy. This all depends on how well the job goes."
John nodded and continued eating his breakfast.

"So, what do you want to do today? Let's go out." Arthur asked.
"Hmmm.. I hear there's a movie theater in Saint Denis." John replied, munching down on his jam covered bread.
"A what?"
"You know, movies, moving pictures."
"Interestin'... fine, we'll go. We can also scout the bank while we're in the city."
"2 birds."

Arthur watched John eat his food viciously. It was like he hasn't eaten in days.
"Damn, John, if I'd know you was this hungry I would have brought you some real food."
"I feel like I ran a marathon last night." He said, still eating.

Arthur looked at his jam covered lips, and his long hair that kept getting in the way.
"Do you, uhh, wanna take a bath after?" Arthur asked, biting his lip.
"Nothing would make me happier." John replied, looking at Arthur and seductively licking the jam off his lips.
